Salutations, readers!
I'm happy to announce that CQI, as the title may suggest, is done. It took two months this time, as I was still writing my other stories while last time I was able to get a large enough backlog, but I'm very happy with how it turns out. Cozy Floss can now go back into hiding to recharge so I'm ready for the next book.
Courier Quest Worldwide, which will be the final entry in Trevor's story, will either be a November or April Writeathon project. By then I'll h...

I was in hot pursuit of Aaron’s champion. The inky black smoke billowed off of his body as he rode his motorcycle. It disappeared after only a few feet as it was magical in nature, but it was certainly leaving an impression on me. Leaning forward, I urged the Heelies of the Twice Blessed to go a little faster.
We very quickly made it to the obelisk that had been set up with h...

As it turned out, Glaraphel’s senses weren’t nearly as precise when it came to Angels as it was with Demons. The Power flew through the air, ignoring all attempts I made to talk him into slowing down, and only responded with one word answers when he deemed them necessary, which wasn’t often. That was fairly annoying, but he was worked up and I could understand that.
Dubli...

“Go for it.”
“You were expecting your ninja pal to get in, but I swooped in and took it from him.”
“That’s right.”
“And that’s after you went through all the trouble of taking him around, dealing with a bunch of different scenarios specifically so he could get in.”
“Went through so much tr...

Jamie and I approached from the east in an effort to get ahead of Maine before they made it to Pennsylvania. We stopped at the foot of the Dublin Port crane, a large, gray-blue metal machine that would allow the Weapon Master a nice perch while I negotiated. Seeing as she was going to get credit for taking out the wanderer, she didn’t argue.
“I’m just going to be right across the road if you need anything,” I told ...

With Ohio and Indiana already out of the competition, the MVPs from the eastern United States were almost all completely gone. If everything else stayed the same, then Michigan would have defeated Wisconsin, who would have already knocked out Illinois. Iowa and Missouri would end in a double knockout, with Arkansas, a master of traps, sitting patiently at his own obelisk.
Maine was still a problem, but he would be one for...

I crouched on top of a building overlooking Dublin’s Grand Canal, directly across from my next target in Wilton Park. It was smaller than a city block with a raised area for a fountain in the middle and trees planted all around. There was a short, metal fence all around the perimeter. The memory ...

Thanks to Winged Messenger, I had covered most of the distance to Jean Hawley before she managed to snap out of her shock at how I dealt with her attack. She was still far out of my awareness aura, but I could see her clearly. Perched on a house’s roof, the Spell Sniper mimed cocking a crossbow.
Ice trailed behind her fingers, creating a twisted, pointed spike. The stone projectile she had sent my way first would have b...

I didn’t run into anyone on the way to Albert’s obelisk. Most of them had hidden away for the event, having been told multiple times that they wouldn’t be able to do anything in the Star Spangled Shadow Invasion other than get hurt. There would be some more once I stopped being on the outskirts of Dublin, but the suburbs here had been one of the first places abandoned.
With the giant pillar of light hanging in the s...

I watched as Albert Shaw extricated himself from the restaurant ruins with a smug look on his face. The tanned man, with his head shaved bald and dull brown eyes, looked me over. His hands were shoved into his pockets, and his gaze lingered on my Trench Coat of the Mad Captain even though he was wearing something almost as ridiculous.
Lightning jumped from the plethora of metal plates attached to the outside of his black rob...

The destruction around me was terrible. I looked around the intersection I had been teleported to for the Star Spangled Shadow Invasion. The restaurant in front of me looked as though a steamroller had barreled through them, and the houses down the road weren’t any better. All around, pushed into the sidewalks, were the burnt out husks of vehicles, long since left by the wayside. Thick gouges had been torn out o...

Those of you who are in the $10 tier know that we're coming in to the end of an era (and the arc.) My intention had been to end this book after the Dublin event (finally getting to it) but I am a prolific pantser and the story got away from me.
You know, like it tends to.
In my last April announcement I mentioned that, if I kept up my pace, I wouldn't need to take two weeks as a break afterwards. And I don't! But I will be taking one week off to compi...

First off, Courier Quest is on sale for a limited time. Right now, it's 2.99, but it will bump up to 3.99 in a few days before the sale ends on the 2nd!
Second, I know it's only been a few days since I started posting Courier Quest International, but I made the snap decision to go all in on it just last night. The Royal Road Writeathon starts on April 1st, so I decided ...

I'm happy to announce that my first Royal Road series, Dungeon Inspector, is finally going to Amazon! I've been sitting on this one for a while. As it's not LitRPG, it wasn't nearly as popular as 100th Run or Courier Quest on RR but I'm willing to bet it'll do moderately well as an eBook. If you're interested, give it a look!

The only thing Badger hates more...

In the last chapter I mentioned that my fever had gotten the best of me and I needed some time off. Unfortunately, damn virus got my temp so high that my wife took me to the ER. I'm on some heavy duty stuff now, but it doesn't look like I'll be returning with chapters as planned.
Given that I'm laid out in bed for a few more days, I'm going to give a tentative return date of February 10th. I'll keep y'all updated if anything else comes up, and thanks for understanding.

The good news: 100th Run 5 is coming out on Amazon in just a couple more days!
In addition, I have it on good authority that Shadow Alley Press has booked my narrator to start book 3 audio in March. There's no concrete release date just yet, but it's coming!
The bad news: I am starting to get sick. My wife was knocked out and bedridden for some of last week, and I'...

Surprise! There's the Angel in all her glory. I was really happy to receive this, and I've basically just been smiling at it ever since. This was done by the talented Hasegawa Kein, and you can see more of their work and even commission them here.
And don't forget that book 5 is available for pre-order on Amazon, and it officially drops on January 28th! If you haven't already, you can reserve your copy

Salutations, readers! 100th Run is back, and I have some announcements!
First up, Book 5 is already up for preorder on Amazon. It's scheduled for a January 28th release so there's a little bit of time before we get there, but it was pushed back so that I could have time to post for my Regressor and Player tiers as well as the people still reading on Royal Road.

I'm here with another update. Book 5 of 100th Run is nearly complete, and all I have left to do before I start getting it ready for my publisher is finish the last chapter. Since I know when it's going to end, I can give you all a proper warning for the post-book hiatus.
Chapter 232 will be posted on November 14th, and then I'll be taking a two week break. That means Book 6 will begin on December 2nd.
I'm fairly happy with how the ending's going, and I'...

The Paperback version of book 4 is now live, which means that Amazon is now accepting reviews. I would really appreciate it if anyone who checked out the free ARC copy could click here and leave a rating or review for me. If it's done today, then there's a good chance that Amazon will have them up and ready for launch day.
Thank you so much!

September is a pretty big month for 100th Run. Book 5 is over halfway done and Book 4 will be hitting Amazon in just over a week.
To celebrate, I'm going to be posting a chapter a day from Thursday the 5th all the way up to launch day, Tuesday the 10th. I'll post another update letting everyone know after the book has dropped.
For now, I hope you continue to enjoy 100th Run!

Public train to Chicago - 2:20 AM
Despite being much smaller than what I was used to, the private room on the public train was cozy enough. The one I purchased a ticket for came with its own bathroom and shower, though nothing to do laundry with. There were two beds, one that pulled out from the wall around chest height and another that was made by laying down the two chairs by the window.
I missed my luxury sleeper car, but this would do for now.

Deep inside the building, Greg was surrounded by a platoon of other players, and I made my way towards them. Based on their auras, everyone aside from the Guildmaster was in bad shape. There weren’t any bodies so they hadn’t lost anyone, but the battle had clearly not been kind to them. That didn’t matter, I was only after one person.

My eyes refused to focus on any one thing as I tried to take in the room. I saw it, but nothing registered. It took a few, long seconds before everything clicked, and my mind went in two directions at once. One was the correct path, the logical one, but the other was pure rage.
