Here's a look at two things I hope to finish next week, depending on how much free time I have - little Daisy & Rose, and the second page of "Late Again". The past two days - especially today - have felt like a marathon. I'm used to knocking out single-or double-character drawings in little time, but this game illustration required 4 main characters, a spectator, a blackjack table, and 10 carefully placed objects... all in a sort of fish-eye perspective. And two color comps. And it need...

Little status update - Daisy's profile pic (and one of the alternates) is coming along, and I'm blocking in the lighting for the comic (who knew photo reference could be so handy?).

This image has taken me a lot longer to draw (so far) than it has any right to. Now that the important bits are blocked in, all that's left is to make it look lived-in, and then scribble a lighting guide.

Daisy Profile WIP

Here's a look at one of my projects for this week - Daisy's official profile image (middle)! About half-way through blocking in her base proportions, I thought it'd be fun to also do some alternates - one with her in a bikini, one with her not, and maybe another with her in casual clothes... but I ran out of layers for that last one. My other project for this week is to get started on the next comic. I have the first page planned out, and I have photo reference... I just really dislike draw...

Yesterday I loaded last week's Livestream thumbnails onto my tablet, then realized I could do the same with still-undrawn ideas scribbled on index cards. This set of cards is for a potential platform game starring Daisy. At the very least, I might do the animations for a fake demo. I could always use that demo for a Kickstart campaign, later... assuming I figure out how to budget a game production.

Mary test animation

One from the archives - an animation I did way back to test out Mary-Annes's rig. One thing I plan on doing soon, is a thorough analysis of my 3D characters - comparing the models to the drawings to see if they need adjusting; examining the rig features to determine what is missing or could be improved, and finding solutions for problems that've stalled me in the past.
