With Gambit now completely assimilated into the alien the parasite uses his newfound form in order to target the next person to be a host.  Unfortunately for him things don't go quite to plan and he finds himself discovering something that he had forgotten and finding out that the two he had taken weren't going to just go gently into that good night.

Slight Delay

So as we get closer to the end of the month I have to announce there will be a slight delay when it comes to the Rain and Shine rewards as well as certain top tier stories that I've been working on.  As of this moment I'm working with a credit union to get a home equity line of credit and I have an appointment on Friday that I need to get everything prepared for as well as present what I'm going to need the money for and everything like that.  I'm going to try and work on the weeken...

The alien creature continues to set his sights on Gambit, using the newfound connection that he gained while impersonating Timber in order to woo him over enough to be assimilated.  Gambit meanwhile attempts to focus on his work while the alien toys around with his thoughts so that he willingly falls into the trap being set for him.

With a fresh host the alien parasite immediately sets his sights on its objective, assimilating the sentient races of this world.  With all the memories and personality of the deer at his fingertips he targets Gambit, a malamute that is Timber's friend in order to continue to grow and spread.  But after waiting centuries for this chance the alien isn't going to let his eagerness get in the way, he's ready to slow play in order to get what he wants... though that starts to get a litt...

Timber finds his usual workout routine preparing for the Iron Stag interrupted when the path that he takes to get to the park has been demolished.  Not being one to accept such roadblocks he instead turns his attention to the nearby forest preserve that has been locked away from the community and sneaks inside.  Little does he know that inside is an alien parasite that had been waiting many centuries for someone like him in order to begin their own plans...

On the Mountain of Trials (2/2)

Hinode and Lucas have been trapped!  Stuck inside a capture crystal of his own design the two are going to have to think of a way of getting out before the two have their way with them.  Unfortunately Fujin and Hiyori have ideas of their own and the crystal is a perfect way to mold them into a vassal proper for their worship.

So this is more of a test to see how everything that I set up works, but if it's all good then it's the first chapter of the How to Enter Dragon Heaven audiobook.  ^. .^

On the Mountain of Trials (1/2)

A spirit wrangler and his fox spirit companion travel up a mountain in the middle of a storm in order to try and find the powerful spirits that dwell up there.  The hope is to capture them in order to have the two creatures to fight along side him, but when they get there the spirits have other ideas.  No dirty stuff in this part but you're gonna wanna read it for context to the second.

Rain and Shine - March Update

Welp, here we are with the Studio module, one of the most complex updates to the game thus far.  As I said there is also a little addition that I made to it, I hope you guys enjoy!  Remember that if you use the debug mode in order to get to one of the special areas if you get sent back to the searching for a headquarters update it might not load properly.  Also after the Casino updates those modes will disappear, so use them while you can!

Rain and Shine Update Tomorrow!

Alright, so after yet another bit of polishing up I'm confident to say that the Rain and Shine update will be tomorrow, probably like 4pm.  Today is going to be consisting of playtesting to work out all the bugs and tomorrow morning will be putting in the bad endings that you all enjoy so much.  ;)

First book to receive audiobook treatment?

So I've been dilly-dallying long enough with this and with the extra time I'm putting into working on stuff I've decided to go ahead and start doing the audiobook readings that I've been meaning to do for some time now.  It'll probably happen on a day like Wednesdays when I'm writing for stream, but the real question is which book should be turned into an audiobook first?  (In order for it to be uploaded to Amazon you have to have an e-book of it, so only already uploaded titles can...

End of Month report: March 2019

Alright, so we are pretty much done with March and looking back it was quite the hectic month.  Lots of stories getting done as I attempt to get the queue chipped away and once again we had a month of growth for patreon as well as twitch.  I also got a business card and used it to get myself a new laptop as well as the title screen for Rain and Shine.  All and all a very positive way to roll into Spring with no real negative news to report.

So all stories that are being finished up are being moved to April, I think I posted quite a bit this month.  :P  The only thing left to post for March is the update to Rain and Shine as well as the end of month report.  There will be a few polls coming out in the beginning of April as well so this is pretty much the calm before the storm.

Overhaul planned for Rain and Shine

So as I mentioned before in May we're going to be overhauling the game from start to the point that the game will be at, mostly to add in art, sprites, music, and sound effects to make it into a proper Ren'Py game.  Below are just a few of the changes being implemented in version 2.0:

- Species customization:  Current plans for adding in wolf, fox, dragon, and other species along with the default human.
