The ThinkPad is down, Long Live the Thinkpad

Thanks to your generosity and support Ive been able to save up over the past years to afford a new workstation to replace my beloved, much modded but ancient 2013 Lenovo W530. The W530 runs Windows7 which is no longer supported with security updates by Microsoft, and cant run the latest software like Blender. Rendering 3d stuff is very slow too; no real-time rendering here.
Ive attached my strategy above: im replacing the Thinkpad with an identical-looking ThinkPad.

My computer is dying

With a heavy heart, I'm finally retiring my trusty 2013 Lenovo W530 workstation laptop from frontline duty, its been almost faultless in all that time apart from collecting dust in the heatsink and fan and needing occasional cleanouts, needing a replacement keyboard and battery, its been with me through many moves and and workshops.. its been heavily upgraded to 32gb ram, 2 x 2TB SSD, and has been a very reliable and capable workstation but as Windows7 is no longer being updated for secu...

im finding the rendering slowness of my ancient computer a bit freustrating, i hav some more information about that coming soon made possible by you my amazing partons. xxx alex
