I've decided to try writing a short story.

This is the second attempt to write this post because my power went out while writing the first attempt.

I can not recall a summer where we have had storms so frequently as we have had this year. But power outages have been a huge frustration, this month. That's where the short story comes in, as I've been attempting to write it from my phone.

Character Preview

This is a new character that will be showing up in chapter 2 of Jessica's Comic.

I finally got a chance to get some rendering work done this morning and wanted to share something since I've been a bit quiet lately.

It's a bit hard to show off my draft writing work, and that's what I've been spending a good chunk of my time working on.

Ultimately I remembered that the reader I use for comics had a plugin for converting CBRs to PDF, so I used that.

The keyboard that I have used for almost 20 years broke today, and I'm a bit sad. After using an ergonomic keyboard for so long, it will take some time to get used to using a straight keyboard again.

I looked at possibly getting another Microsoft Natural, but they just do not seem to make them as good as the old 4000 series after reading the reviews.

7DoS, May Progress Report

Still working away at the game between comic updates. Being able to see results on the screen make it seem like I've gotten more done in the past week that I have the past year of writing and planning.

This past week I've mostly been working on the coding part of the visuals, both character display and GUI customizations. Ren'Py has a lot of amazing features, but a lot of the documentation for it is ether outdated or spread across countless forum threads.

This also let me play with the dialogue a bit more. Originally I did not plan on having the Guy comment on her change of voice, and I was just going to let the reader assume that's what went on with the change of color with Jessica's word bubbles.

This was another case where I had things planned for one release, but once I started laying things out on the page, there was just too much going on and I felt it worked better split up.

This makes for a slightly shorter Patreon version this week, but means not so much of the transformation is skipped over in the single image version.

It also gives me more room to flesh out the dialog in the second half of this new transformation.

You might recognize the middle symbol from her Character ID Card that I posted a little while back. Eventually, I will be making these for the other 6 girls as well.

I actually rendered this in 4k for a change... took my GTX 1050Ti 6 hours... that is why I do most of my stuff in 1440.
