Beta 4 Sneak Peek: A Few Body Presets

Plans for Daz Male Models (Beta 4 & 5)

Initially, I wanted to have a few non-graphical updates after the Daz conversion of the female models was done. However, while converting the ladies, I came to realize that it would be common sense to just go ahead and upgrade the male models too, so that:

Sneak Peek for 2.0 Beta 3: New Hairstyles

Here's 10 new hairstyles for the new female models that will be introduced in v2.0 Beta 3 (to be released this weekend). Like the other three Daz hairstyles already in the game, each hairstyle has its own shape customization morphs (length/ position of bangs, sides, back etc) - the screenshot above only shows the default shape.

Plans for 2.0 Beta 3 (27 April)

As planned, the next update will complete the switch into Daz3d for the female models:

- More hairstyles for the new female models

- Clothes for the new female models

- Expand the presets in Content\Modules\vin_Base\Presets so that they work with the new female models too

More Beta 1 Sneak Peek: Ethnicity and Age

LifePlay 2.0 Beta 1 is nearly ready and should be released within the next couple of days.

As you may have noticed, I have restrained from making new sex animations for the past couple of months to focus on other pressing areas of the game like career paths, UI, skin shader and (upcoming in v1.14 this weekend) consequences of player actions.

Poll: Title Screen Or Not?

Unlike most games, when you start LifePlay, it doesn't first go to the title screen (i.e. a menu with New, Load, Settings, etc). Instead, it goes straight into the main gameplay: either quickloading your last save, or (if no previous save was found), start a new game with default settings. If you need anything, you can do so by opening the Pause menu (Esc) instead.

My Stance on Declined Payments

Unfortunately, 5 (was 6) out of my total of 19 patrons had their payments declined for this month. With such a high % of declines, I'm quite certain it's something wrong with Patreon's system, not anything wrong with your cards.

Resolve Freezes in v1.10(.1)

Some of you may have experienced freezes in v1.10(.1). This can happen during the sugardaddy scene or just randomly after 10-15 min of gameplay. I'm glad to say I have identified the cause of this.

You won't even need a patch to fix this. Just go back in game, Esc > Customize NPC Distribution > Look into the right half of the screen, you'll find they're all a bunch of zeros. Change them to (these are the defaults, you can change them to whatever you want):

- Male: 0.45
