Hey everyone! I'm happy to announce that Ankha Zone x Cum Zone will be completed in a few days. The majority of the video is finalized in After Effects. I just need to make a number of tweaks to the opening shot, and also work on the credits / end slate.

Here is a timelapse video showing the cleanup process for some of the AI Interpolated frames that I exported from DAIN. I may use some of this footage in a future video to talk about AI Interpolation and how animators can use it to speed up the inbetween process.
This is 12 hours 30 minutes played back at 100x speed. The actual process was closer to 15 hours, though I had it trimmed down to remove any pauses or short breaks in the footage.

The frames have been doubled! Since completing the rear view of Phalia's hips, I wanted to update the main animation to be just as smooth. The previous loop has been inbetweened from 2's to 1's, effectively upgrading from 15FPS to 30FPS.
I did this with the help of AI Interpolation with DAIN, however it should be noted that the AI did an extremely messy job with most of the frames. The actual interpolation process only took about 40 minutes, but fixing the errors and mistakes took me 4...

Here's a brand new animation with Phalia shaking her hips! Instead of doing everything as frame-by-frame from scratch, I started with tweens and replaced pieces with frame-by-frame elements as needed.
It's not perfect, but it is a LOT faster. I was able to get the whole thing done in about 8 days, with twice as many frames as the previous loop. I'm sure I'll find a good balance between these two methods as I go forward.

This was one of several sketches I made to be used as cut-away shots for the Ankha Zone video. I completed this one first, however, it took me a full week to render which was a lot longer than expected.
I'll be trying something else for the other cut-away shots, maybe a close-up shot of Phalia making a spooky face? We'll see :)

Hey everyone! Here's just a little peek into how the compositing process is going.
I spent three days adding the shiny 'highlights' to Phalia's hair and skin. Then it was just a few hours in After Effects to dial in the look that you see here.
I set up the After Effects file to work as a template that can be used for all future animations. I'll be able to make all kinds of tweaks and improvements with each new project that comes out.

I lost my job.
I was working full-time as a director for one of the largest animation studios on YouTube. This was my main source of income for the past three years. Two weeks ago, the studio nearly collapsed due to a change in the YouTube algorithm. Most of the team was let go, including me.

Cell shading is done! It was a lot more work than expected, but I'm very happy with the result. Up next is color, compositing, and music.
Like last month, my job consumed almost all of my time. I couldn't get much done during the week, only allowing me a few weekends to get everything done.

I've begun work on my first real "test" animation, a parody of the Ankha Zone meme featuring Phalia! The NSFW version will remain Patreon exclusive for a while, but a slightly more 'covered up' version will go on YouTube.

Hard to believe it's been one whole year since we released Your Cum Won't Last.
This piece was a surprise collab between Four Eyes and myself. He did the linework and some rough shading, while I handled the rest of the lighting and BG's. For only two days of work on my part, I think it turned out pretty great! I'm definitely getting faster at this.
