Another day, another room. I finished room 2, and now I'm starting on room 3 and the last one. Haha, this project is taking longer than I thought it would.

Devlog #24 - Room 1 completed.

Just finished the story and mechanics of Room 1. Now onto the other 3 rooms. As I mentioned, this game will be short but slightly larger than the previous spin-off.


The most complicated part is cutting everything out and organizing it on the screen for a point-and-click game, but it's a learning experience that I can apply to the main game.

Today I took the day to create the entire interface for the hub and navigation. I'm thinking about adding a simple quest system, or maybe not. Anyway, here it is.

Devlog #14 - Basic Point and Click System 2

After tinkering here and there, I reached a usable point in the game. In EP3, players will be able to interact with some things in the environment. This serves to give the player a bit more "freedom" and adds an extra element to the game.

Devlog #13 - First Sex Render.

Today I took the day to render the first sex scene, and who would've thought it would be almost 100 renders just for that. But it served as an experience since I had never done sex scenes in Koikatsu before. It was a good learning process, and it will be useful for future scenes. :D

Devlog #12 - Basic Point and Click System.

Today I took the day to test some things and decided to implement a simple point and click system so that in some occasions during gameplay, the player interacts with the environment to make the game more fun. It's not a sandbox, just a simple system of clicking on objects.

I woke up and tried to turn on the computer, but it wouldn't display anything. I got a little scared, so I had to open it up and check, and it turns out the graphics card was already in bad shape. Now it's even worse, but for now, I can still continue with the project.

Devlog #10 - Story Evolution.

I'm evolving the story. The MC's family will temporarily move to a house with a larger plot of land until the MC can save up enough money for a better and more traditional Japanese house. Of course, in this EP, there will be the arc of the MC in school, meeting girls, helping other girls, and improving his social life.

Today I took the day to look for some options to optimize the images of the game. The game was already getting to 1.2GB in size, so after some searching, I found the perfect tool. I used it, and now the game is less than 400MB with no loss of quality. :D
