PAXW Comic: Who Owns the League?

Mirror's Edge - Test of Faith

I recorded this after a terrible thing happened in the US; I wanted to heal and this game - specifically this challenge - helped a lot. Hey hi! Inspiration struck me as I listened to the wonderful Friends at the Table podcast's second season, COUNTER/Weight, and I sketched out a quick little something that I'll build into something more. It has a combination of different scenes, graphical elements, and words that feels like a good challenge for me, so I'm eager to make it to the next stage with this one. Commission: Magnus Burncider

Hey hi folks! Here's my first official commission: a beer label with an Adventure Zone (a McElroy fantasy podcast) theme! I followed my usual process here, but ended up using such a large brush that the sketch was hard to follow. Still, it let me get the concept down rather fast, though the pose left a bit to be desired. Hey hi folks! Thanks to your generous support, I can now do a stream every two weeks (probably during a weekend day) where I'll draw, show what I know, try new things, and discuss with you folks! :D

Art Timelapse: Amberthday

Here's the recording of me drawing this piece, sped up and put to music! Incidentally, the same tune I was listening to as I drew it (for various inspirational reasons). It's such a cool feeling to watch my own work sped up like this, and it gives me some insight into my process. I'm glad I go the sketch later, then line art layer way, because it allows me to go back and tweak the sketch as needed when I realize I've made mistakes.

Art: Amberthday

Here's my first high-rez art post! I drew this on my birthday, which just so happens to be the birthday of my friend Amber as well! Here's her portrayed as a monster girl. ^w^

I buckled down, minimized distractions and did my best to remain focused while I drew this, and it took me 2 hours to complete. This is considerably faster than I usually work, so I'm really motivated to keep up this work ethic when I create! :D

I'm so grateful for your support. I should start posting content soon; I'm currently unable to stream due to being between homes, but I can record just fine, so I'll be starting by putting up my first timelapse drawing video! It's amazing just how much faster I can work when I dedicate myself and remove the distractions; I hope to start making a lot more interesting things to share and learn from.
