Monthly Cabal Stream on Feb 27th

Yeah I know it's past Valentine's Day but lets just go with the theme anyways. :) 

On Saturday, Feb 27th from 1-5pm EST I will be streaming with my friends and so will need something to work on. :)

I'm offering 2 slots here and 2 on FA. Prices for a single character pencil sketch start  at $65 plus shipping. Price varies depending on complexity of the commission request or additional characters, I'll give you a final quote for your approval before charging you anything. Wild week so far

Texas as been a mess this week. First snowstorm came Sunday and we lost power early Monday morning as we slept. Power stayed out around 36 hours but at least we got it back late Tuesday. House dropped to 52 degrees and wasn't looking forward to sleeping there that night without power. We also had a pipe freeze and break but at least it was outside and part of the irrigation and not the house itself.

Second storm came thru early Wed morning, adding to the snow already there. Water is now the issue and we have to boil it before we can drink or wash with it. Some houses didn't even have water pressure so couldn't even get any to boil if they wanted to. 

These storms really weren't that bad compared to other areas of the country but Texas was not ready for this and everything failed, hope the state learns from this.

Hope everyone is keeping warm and staying safe.

Dragon sketch - Shade

Pika Pika?

The color version of my Pallas cat sketch. She seems confused by the Pika that is up close and personal. Doesn't it know her kind eat Pikas? Maybe it will have a shocking surprise for her.

(This is a play on Pokemon, since Pikachu is modeled after the Pika)

I'm offering 3 slots for sketches. If I get more that 3 requests, instead of first come, first served,  I will review them and pick the 3 that sound the most interesting/fun to me.

Pallas Cat sketch revised

I decided I wanted to take the Pallas cat to color but felt there were parts of the sketch I wasn't happy with.  You can compare this with the sketch from December 2020 to see the changes.

I tend to do this with many drawings, time and distance help issues become clearer.

I was reminded of this piece after finding a book on drawing furrys for sale on Amazon using this image as the cover. They flipped it but didn't bother to remove the signature. We are getting it removed. ;)

Couch Cuddle

This was a commission sketch from 2013 (can't remember who it was for). Such a sweet piece, The zebra is greeting her partner who just come home from work. Wouldn't we all like to be welcomed home like this.

Hitchhiker - Alligator sketch in color

Here's the color version of the Alligator sketch as I promised. the background and texture on her skin was a fun experiment. She has such a happy smile, guess I haven't done another gator since it would be hard to top this one in my mind. Even after 6 years she's one of my favorites.

I forgot who challenged me to draw an alligator (probably Sara) but this was the result. Had to add the little frog for fun. I liked it so much I finished it in color, I'll post it in a few days. :)
