With her refreshed lung strength, Llulu was finally able to pull herself out of the barrel. A few scratches, but feeding herself on one-third ration (recently) has worked to keep her slim. Llulu carefully drew out her catch. Very heavy and, if the heads were in a good shape, she knew the traders would exchange for water and staples that would keep the village alive for another week.

Seems like it was not Llulu's buttocks that had kept her stuck.

Tiki (braided) draws in Llulu's (pigtails) stale lung air and replenishes her with her own. It was natural, Llulu has had a very long swim through the ship's lower and upper decks into the gun turret while Tiki stood guard. Of the two, Tiki had the strongest lungs among the village younguns, while Llulu could swim the fastest. And both were taught never to "go up alone" when diving in a pair, even if one was caught in a deadlock.
