Explanation: What positive thing happened this week and how things are going

This week has been abnormally silent (well, not a huge surprise in general) although who follows me on Twitter may have had an idea.

I was working in the stuff when I got an unexpected visit: My mother. 

For starters, I didn't see her since 2015. Second thing is, she came in part to help me with stuff and my grandma. We've been going out, doing things here at home a lot, and we've been talking a lot. The art has slowed down to a crawl, but she'll leave on Sunday or Monday, so after ...

Sorry for my absence during this week and part of the previous one. I've been dealing with something unexpected (although, for a change, very positive). I wasnt even able to pull a decent full picture for this x3 ah well xd

I hope you had a happy halloween. 

I'll resume uploads in a couple days. Like the previous time, it'll be with a flood.

A bit about my style and motivation

I usually talk about things ongoing... sometimes I dont... sometimes people arent sure of whats going on with me, and sometimes I come out and tell everything. This post is actually irrelevant for the stuff I'm currently drawing, but actually quite important about my life and art in general.

10 years ago, an artist that I adored told me that I had no future at art. That broke me. But I've already told that story a couple times.

Flood incoming / Moving rest days

For some months I had my "rest days" be Wednesday and Thursday, due to RL reasons (my grandma, mainly). 

Since that's finally over, I'll be moving my rest days back to weekend. This week I'll rest thursday and friday, next week friday and saturday and the week after, saturday and sunday.

And they'll stay there, saturday and sunday. 

About tonight: expect another flood of (standalone) pictures and the wips of some of the comics I owe. I'll also send forms.

🐱‍💻 Resuming work

I've written several journals like this already but bah xd I still gotta say it. 

This week, like I announced, was pretty pretty busy. Grandma had her (supposedly) very final surgery (unless we're told in November she has to get another one, but that'd be for the next year) and she's recovering, and I'm taking care of her and doing things here at home.

📀 Having a vertical screen was a great idea

For once I wanted to make a journal that escaped my typical status fare, or ranting about things. I'm going to talk shortly about something completely unimportant. I'll resume uploading tomorrow (Real life happened).

Batch ongoing

Hey guys. 

Like it became typical of me (being unable to respect my own dates with anything) this post is just to say that I'm not done; tomorrow I'll upload minimum 6 more pictures. 

Wednesday I'm going to start uploading the long awaited comics.

Minccino

This is a simple sketch of a Minccino. Some months ago I hoped to make a wallpaper from it but somewhere in the middle I abandoned the idea. I could retake it at some point; there's an enormous lack of good Minccino/Cinccino themed wallpapers out there.

This is a post to say I'm alive. 

I've been super busy the last 2 weeks. So busy that I didnt take rest days-- until now. 

Time to get back to job, gotta finish stuff. And upload wips. 

This picture in particular is a random scrap. I tried to color how I used to do it 5 years ago but with a different "lineart" style. Clip Studio Paint has several brush differences with Paint Tool SAI (the tool I used back then). So yeah. Also the shadows are *way* too strong.  2018-10-13 11:22:52 +0000 UTC View Post

Dates moved

Originally today (Oct 7th) or tomorrow (Oct 8th) I was going to have everything finished, but actually she sheer volume of stuff made this impossible, even if my rhythm improved considerably.
So I'm moving dates back one week. Also once I finish all of these I'll send the form, for the first time in how long.

So I'll have all the commissions fully completed at most in Oct 15th, the serialized comics in November 9th, the personal doujin in Dec 9th and I'll open for commissions in Dec 11t...

Incoming uploads (Starting today)

Heyo everybody. 

Just a heads up, today I'll start uploading a lot of things that I've completed (past rewards). Also after October 1st I'll start posting WIPs and ideas and everything in between again, since finally, after... how long? Patreon will start being active again. 

I've finally been able to work steadily with minimum issues (except for the middle of last week that RL gave me issues), and things are going at a good pace.
