Artwork for April 2022 Week 4. These were the results of this month's fan art poll. I decided to do simple colored sketches for 3rd place instead of black and white sketches since I don't really draw in black and white much anymore. 2nd place got slightly more rendered. 1st place got the fully rendered painting.

Announcing Bonus Poll April 2022

Hi everyone,

Mother's day is coming up, and there's still a week left this month, so I thought it would be a good idea to do a little bonus poll. It's short notice, so I'm only going to have the poll up for 3 days to ensure I have plenty of time to plan and finish it before May 7th. It'll contain anime/cartoon/videogame moms of my choosing.

Hi Deluxe Tier!

Here's some art that I worked on the last few days. I finished the Camilla and Ragyo Sketches, so I'm saving those for Saturday.

Behind-the-Scenes April 2022 Week 3: Part 1

Hi Deluxe tier,

Lots of sketches this week, and a lot more to come on Wednesday. I've been grinding my figure drawing lately and I think I've been improving a lot. Anyway here's the art:

1. Hilda sketch: there's a bit of a fish-eye perspective on this one, since I'm still teaching myself advanced perspective.

2. Ankha sketch: An update on a sketch from last week. I think I'll fully render this one. I'd like to include a nude and dress version along with the bikini seen here....

For this painting, I went with a circle composition and a complementary/analogous color scheme. Red-Orange-Yellow as the analogous colors, and Cyan as the complementary accent color.

Hi Deluxe Tier,

This week was very busy between art and grad school so I didn't have much time to color some of these sketches. I think making two paintings per week is pushing my limit while I'm finishing my degree, but I think I can get used to it. We'll keep trying it, but I promise if I feel that it is too much, I'll reduce it to one painting when needed. Anyway, here's the bonus art for this week:
