Ivy and Rosa Comic Promo WIP

Here's a comic WIP for this week. I promised a friend I'd make a little promo for a fanfic they wrote of Ivy and Rosa, so I'm working on this one-page promo. The fanfic will release later this month. August 26 2024 Update

Hi everyone,

Time for updates.

Comms have been going good. I have two done and a nice sized waitlist growing. It's been going pretty smooth and turn around time has been about 2-3 days depending on requested edits. I could see myself doing it long term. I don't think I have too much more to say for today's update. I'm still working on some OC art which I'll share this week.

Sketch Dump Aug 18 2024

Hi everyone,

Here's some sketches I did lately. The portrait study and Rosa were done in the alcohol markers. The last on is a torso study sketch in charcoal on newsprint paper. I usually work on stuff like this when I'm taking a break from working on digital stuff.

Anyway, I hope you enjoying seeing some of the IRL art stuff I've been doing. It's a lot harder than digital because you don't have an undo button haha.

Poste and Letta Sketches

Hi everyone,

Here's some sketches.

1. Poste. An art marker drawing of Poste. Sketches in a reddish brown colored pencil, colored with alcohol markers on bristol paper, and lined with colored fineline pens. I started with a yellow to pink gradient before adding the skin tones on top and it gave the art a nice variety of color from top to bottom.

2. A sketch of Letta. Done with a ink brush on standard sketchbook paper. I did redo some lines in CSP after scanning it.

August 12 Update

Hi everyone,

Update time.

The big update for today is that I've decided to try to take on some commissions. This is influenced by all the hospital bills I've been getting for the heart emergency I had in April. Yes, I'm still getting bills from that, I've learned first-hand that the healthcare system in the US is pretty bad.

But anyway, I'll be opening for comms to help pay for those. We'll see how it goes. If it goes well I may continue them after, but for now this could be...

Del and Poste Art Marker Drawing

Hi everyone,

Here's a new art marker drawing of Del and Poste. I got some new paper that is supposed to be better for alcohol based markers (smooth bristol paper). It holds a lot more ink but does feel a little slippery because it's a lot smoother, but I think that allows for better blending of the ink. I think the colors layered pretty nicely and the end was result was pretty smooth. I did go over it with some colored pencil to add some color. The sketch was drawn in colored pencil and...

Christi Sketch

Hi everyone,

Here's a new marker sketch of Christi. After taking a little time for myself I feel a little better. I was watching the Sopranos when a delivery for a new ink brush pen came in so I broke it in by doing this drawing. I am also working on a drawing set of Nami with lots of alts and have picked up page 10 of the Naruto comic again.
