Ich finde solche Montagen immer ein bisschen faul, um zu zeigen, dass Zeit vergeht und eine Beziehung sich entwickelt. Aber ich habe leider keine Zeit, um den beiden ein ganzes Kapitel zu widmen! Aber ich hatte mega Spaß mit diesen Seiten! :)

I've been in a bad place for the last couple of weeks.
Constant construction in the house I live in, handymen demanding access to my apartment at unreliable times, constant noise, dirt and the need to shuffle around all my belongings between attic, apartment and basement.
I supported someone through grief and helped organize a funeral.

Trying to keep up with work somehow.

I often find montages cheap when it comes to showing a friendship grow but I don't have time for a seperate chapter just on these two xD But these pages were fun!
EDIT: Sorry, something went wrong the first time! I usually prep my German and English post simultaneously but it apparently doesn't work with the new Patreon update. Oopsie.
I'd love to write an entire chapter just about their friendship but this is a story about Flix and Zockl after all! So I have to make due with a compilation of their time at softball together. And everything that comes after?

Am liebsten würde ich ein ganzes Kapitel der Freundschaft von Theo und Flix widmen, aber das hier ist immer noch die Geschichte von Zockl und Flix! XD Also muss so ein kleiner Zusammenschnitt ihrer gemeinsamen Zeit beim Softball helfen. Und allem was danach kommt?
Flix wechselt zwar seine Interessen wie Unterhosen, aber nicht seine Freunde! Theo war da sicher für einen Moment sehr beunruhigt...

FLASHBACK TIME!
Diese Szene hat mir unendlichen Spaß gemacht! Endlich mal eine Szene aus Flix' Vergangenheit, bevor er Zockl kannte. Und ich konnte Theo vorstellen. Schon als Junge war er also jemand in einer Führungsrolle mit Verantwortung. Und trifft dann auf den Wirbelwind Felix, der sich nie festlegen kann.

Story time: at one of my last jobs I had a colleague I chatted with a lot. She told me about her hobbies, new recipes, her friends and her daughters. I told her about my girlfriend, dates we went on, when I cooked for her, brought her flowers or planned vacations together. She was really sweet and never weird about the topic.

Es sollte "Zocker" rückwärts geschrieben sein, aber ich habe das c und k vertauscht, oops. Es erinnert mich an die Aussage "get rekt" erinnert, was ich passend finde. :)

Did you ever come out (with something) to your parents?
I remember coming out to my mom. I did it when I already moved out and her already having met my then-girlfriend definitely helped. I assumed she wouldn't react with anger, I knew I was save and not dependent on her or my father, I was pretty sure any queerphobic views were rooted in ignorance and not hostility. Flashback time!
I never showed how Flix came out to his parents, it was just really clear to me, that he wouldn't even consider keeping his relationship a secret. I think while his broader family surely has issues, him and his parents have a very tight bond and trust each other. Probably one of the reasons why he didn't feel the need to move out of their home yet (and because apprentices' salaries rarely cover the cost of living in Germany, hhhh....).
