The big Starsector update

Well then, looks like the next big update is right around the corner. With how the changelogs are looking, updating mods shouldn't require too much work this time around, so I'll hopefully get most of my mods updated within a week or two of the required mod libraries being updated. I do of course intend to actually play the new update first.

New decently-sized ScalarTech update here. Highlights are a fairly major rework of the Gown and of course the addition of the faction's very first phase ship, the Percale.

Sylphon RnD 1.0

I supposed this is the grand "1.0" update, but it's really just a big balance pass on a lot of things. Content-wise, Sylphon has been where I want it for a while now so might aswell put a bow on it.

What's going on behind the scenes

Thought I'd make a short post on what I'm currently working on. I'm currently in one of those tweak and polish phases, working on balance updates for both ScalarTech and Sylphon with a somewhat major mechanical rework of the Gown and buffs for some of the weaker elements in both mods mentioned. Admittedly none of this is particularly flashy stuff, but it's part of maintaining quality as a modder.

Another preview

Introducing the Midi-class Experimental Beam Cruiser, which will soon come to the ScalarTech arsenal. This ship is quite heavily inspired by a ship from the new defunct Fractured Space game that I quite liked playing. A small update on things

 So I figured I should give you guys a small update on what I've been working on. With ScalarTech out now, I'm currently in what I'd call a polishing phase. That means cleaning up whatever leftover bugs I hear about and tweaking things like balancing. There's some updates for that lined up for all 3 of my big mods.

Apart from that, I'm also working on a new freighter for ScalarTech so I attached a preview of that and have reworked the sprite for the ScalarTech IBB.

an unfortunate preview

I was going to preview something else, but life chose otherwise. Earlier this week my dear cat Mika passed away after being hit by a car. This has pretty much killed my productivity since so progress on this has come a bit to a hold. 

In the end I decided to add a memorial for her to this new mod (yes, it is indeed a new standalone mod) so she can live on amonst the stars.
