Update

I know it's been awhile since a proper update. My apologies, all. I wanted to take a moment to fill everybody in.

There's been a lot of hard real life stuff here. Some intense depression and relationship issues, my roof falling into disrepair, and some major creative struggles as a result.

Firstly, I couldn't have gotten through it without your support. So thank you. I hope these doodles at least reassure some folks that I haven't fallen off the map. And there is hopefully more co...

New comic - Rough draft

In between streams I've been thinking about what happens after Maku and Inheritance. These are very unfinished, some need to be redone, but I thought you might enjoy reading them.

Maku 6

It's happening! We're wrapping up this short comic and Inheritance over the next week or two. In other news, between here and SubscribeStar we passed over 1000 supporters over the last couple weeks! HOLY COW. I could never have imagined when I was starting out that I'd be getting this much support. This year in particular has been so incredible. THANK YOU. Expect more about this soon.

There is still a little room for improvement, but not only are these getting closer to looking authentically manga in my opinion, they're also a little faster to produce without having to worry about too much blending. Not quite there but learning a lot.

Hope it's a good direction :)

I'm still playing with black levels. I apologize that the style has been slightly inconsistent while I experiment. I'd like to get my skills to the point where it's possible to do 2 color images if I wanted to. Would be very handy for speed too.

Took me a bit to get this one done. Honestly, I can't quite decide what to do with grayscale stuff like this. I do feel like the contrast is getting closer to where it feels right though.

Temporary Hiatus

Hi gang. I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be taking a step away this month. Art might still be posted, but rest assured I'll stop the charge this month if the work doesn't meet expectation.

The reasons are personal, but suffice to say someone important to me has asked for my help and I'm gonna be there. I'll be back soon. Hope to have some good stuff for you during the wait.

Critical Condition 23

Here we go! This is where the last iteration left off, so this is where we'll leave this for now. Mission complete! Critical Condition has a modern (and final) version. Future chapters might be a thing, but I'm glad I promise I made many years ago now is finally fulfilled. I'm working on Turn right now, but stay tuned for some doodles.

Next month we'll have Inheritance. We might also have a giftart stream on Saturday!

February Turn Update

Work continues on Turn, but there won't be a release this month. I think it's best the next boss is finished before anyone should play again and we're waiting on music and a few final bits of polish on some game systems before we're there.
