It's taking a bit longer than usual for me to get warmed up today, so the pose is a bit stiff and the lines are messier than usual. I tried compensating by sketching some touch-ups on a new layer, which definitely gives it a unique energy!

I realized it's not really fair that there's no exclusive comic for this month! so I'm gonna crack one out before the month ends.
Normally I don't post WIPs this early in development, but I think the concept still comes across and I thought it might be interesting to show how the early stages of my process tend to look. This took about 10 minutes, give or take.
I'll post a more coherent WIP a bit later on!

I had his chromatophores take on a striped pattern, because that pattern typically means a cuttlefish is in distress. It's a little detail that most people probably won't notice, but I thought it would be interesting.
I might add some white borders here and there to separate panels if I have time, but time is quickly running out if I wanna get this done before tomorrow!
