Poll rules reviewed! 5$ pledgers, attention please! ^^

Ok, guys...I've been reviewing Poll rules and something captured my eye to the point I've decided to change the way it works for the better (I hope).

As of now, 1$ pledgers got  8 votes to spend on polls, and they represent the majority of my pledgers.On the other hand, I only got two 5$ pledgers (you brave heroes! lol) who got 4 votes and get the same amount of illustrations: one per month.

Babe Runner -Shooting Range (Beta Version)

Aaaaand, since no long ago I've promised to show some of the "new" shooting range feature, here it is (just a friendly reminder: it's a MINIgame featured IN the game, which is a lot deeper).

I hope you'll like it because it literally sucked my soul as ALL of it was hand-drawn: the gun, the animations...Everything.

Babe Runner (hair selection) and Poll results

The ones just passed have been hell of crazy days.

There were reasons why, in the end it never happened.

Babe Runner "work" code updated to be almost nearly actually sane.

You all know I've started working on Babe Runner code on my own, months ago.

And no matter how good I am at coding -matter of fact it was my very first experience at that, and so...I was not- I could've used some help from day one.

But that help didn't come until so far in the developing process, so the two guys who joined the project later on as writers/programmers had to deal with an unbelievably insane -yet genious, in its own way! -_-' - amount of code ...

The Babe Runner Project gets bigger! ^^

As you can see, I've been adding 17,360 things while deleting 11,993 things.

I've used the technical term "things" because really,  additions and deletions concern pretty much everything: images, dialogues, lines of code...It  keeps track of every single correction while developing.

"Work" feature and interface.

By playing this early version of the game (yes, an early version with a lot of missing content is currently on my desktop :P)  I've realized  that something just didn't feel right.  

The first concept (the one in the screenshot) was meant to include a "work" tab in the inventory so that you could've worked from pretty much anywhere in Lust Angeles without going to the Police Station and work your shift:

Babe Runner - Map and Apartment (Day/Night) First look

The Video Title is self explanatory, I guess :)

Last week I've been working on animations to add to both the city map and "your" apartment, and I think it's shaping up pretty good :)

Please don't pay attention to the GUI alignment and general look as I've placed it there  as  a "placeholder"  helping me to figure out things.

Babe Runner - Shooting Range Test.

Like I said in this clip description, this is just a very basic stage of the shooting range feature in the game.

No fancy crosshair (yet), no fancy target sliding out (yet), no screen shaking when shooting (yet), no multiple audio channels to avoid sound overlapping (yet).

In other words, there's pretty much anything still missing,  but let me tell you: it was so cool to play.

Reminds me of Whack-a-mole, which is not a mexican minigame (that's "Guacamole" and it's no game). View Post
