The leg on this bothered me so much I had to fix it.  I went ahead and left the dialogue even though there's no context.  This only got 3 likes anyway, so I assume most of you didn't like it.  In any case here's the update.

Challenge Accepted

I noticed that people are willing to accept the framework of a narrative almost as easily as something with an actual narrative. I'm all about low effort content, so we're giving it a try. A little test run.  Trying to break free from my intense desire to fill in all the gaps rather than let the audience do the heavy lifting.

The original requester had the summited version of this to work from, so I cleaned it up a bit and colored it.   Why they came together to eat cake is unknown even to them, apart from cake being good.  Carol is enthused if nothing else.

Ancient comissions

I found these in an old folder. They were commissioned by a guy who called himself Farx.  One of my most regular patrons.  He died, oh, two years ago now maybe?  I never met him in person, but considered him a friend.  I assume there must have been an archive of all the art he bought over the years.  I feel bad thinking that it may be lost now, because commissioned art is a very true expression of the person who buys it, & as long as it still gets passed around it...

This is pretty old.  I'm not super in love with it or anything, but maybe one of you will get a kick out of it.  I'd do it differently If I was gonna do it again is all I'm saying, but content is content & you never know who might enjoy it, or be inspired by it.

Hallowinning

I think this was in Muffintop 4, but I can't remember for sure. Just So You Have An Idea

This is a series I've been messing with for several YEARS now. I haven't even drawn a proper opening for it and it's 80 pages or so. When I say I have to stop myself from continuing an idea it's not just empty talk.  I will mess with something forever and never finish anything if I let myself do whatever my whim for the day might be.

Okay, we've reached the actual narrative end of this twisted homage.  There are actually a few versions of dialogue from the various evolutions of this thing, but I settled on this because, well, I felt like it in the moment frankly.  My work tends not to be mean and ominous because I don't usually like that, but everyone has odd turns from time to time.
