ZIP AND ZOOM ARE HERE!!!

I'm so excited to share that Zip and Zoom made it to me safe and sound! I'm also excited to show you the aviary progress we are making at our home regarding the 14' aviary whose roof came crashing down over last winter. We've been at a loss of how to go about fixing it as it bent a lot of the metal walls and we ended up tossing out the previous roof. The only quote I got for a replacement roof was a carport that came in at $9k for a galvanized metal one. I just could not do that so while doin...

Aviary Update

We are still waiting on the solid pitched roof to arrive for this aviary so we can have it installed, when that happens I will be moving alllll the birds back to my house while it's done because at the same time the aviary panels will be disassembled and reassembled better according to Tom's instructions. I am really hopeful this will be the solution to the warped look on some of the enclosures and large gaps that are temporarily filled at the moment. As well as the scraping door.

For those of you who have been with us for the past couple of years, you know the struggles we have had with Freeze Dried. From purchasing 1 machine that could only make 8 bags every 60 hours, to buying more machines that could do 100 bags a week (and then selling out of those 100 bags in LESS THAN 60 SECONDS), to buying even MORE machines and finding a whole new building to house them in, only for it to flood less than a month later and have most of the machines destroyed...it's been a journ...

Aviary UPDATE!

Hey patrons! I wanted to give you all an aviary update on the brand new set up that has been going up at my parents' house to replace my old garden set up (which I donated to Animal Wonders Montana last year). 

This new aviary is built by Tom at Cage Masters in Florida. I will definitely be doing a new "aviary tour" video once everything is perfectly set up (could be a while, lol).
