Can we train a budgie?!

I get asked a lot why we don't show more SMALL birds, like budgies and parakeets, in our videos. And the truth is, we don't have a lot of our clients willing to spend the money on the much smaller birds to attend classes, workshops and in-homes. But this time... we did and it was a very interesting case. 

We struggle hard to make progress in a single day when clients don't follow our food recommendations (the healthiest diet of our nutritional feeding system in the morning followed...

RIP Dan Womach

I was going to film a video explaining, but I can't bring myself to do it. So this is the next best I could offer. 

We are going to be temporarily stopping our Bird Tricks Tuesday video series, and replacing it with our Vet Series. You were receiving 1 BTT episode per month, you will be receiving 2 episodes of the vet series per month through the end of February. Hopefully by then we will be ready to re-visit filming BTT episodes again.

We’ve had some baaaaaaad weather and unforeseen auto circumstances get in the way of filming this month. Will try to still get the BTT video filmed and out this month but right now, it’s looking like the latest Tuesday of the month possible!

Thanksgiving Mush Recipe (Tasty Tuesday!)

This recipe calls for:

- 2 sweet potatoes (peeled, steamed) 

- 3 bananas (peeled as normal or peeled and frozen chunks if your bird likes that texture!)

- 2 cups brown rice (We used 1 cup brown rice, 1 cup wild rice) 

- 15oz pumpkin (you can use fresh pumpkin, but because we made this in the wrong season, there were none!) 

We hope your birds enjoy this one as much as ours did!
