This is our newest flight student... OMG... right? Can't get anymore adorable! But he needs a name... (this is a catalina macaw, by the way, which is a hybrid macaw - a mix between a scarlet macaw and blue and gold macaw.)

This recipe is great for birds who prefer fruit over veggies and/or pellets. It's a great one to use to get birds to try healthier foods, especially pellets. If your bird is reluctant to eating pellets in general or a new pellet you're trying to convert him onto it will be best to start with pellets in powdered form and wean onto using them in their whole form.

Hi everyone! I thought you'd all enjoy an update on Touché's grow out so far. I have the rescue working towards a better diet for both Lefty and Touché while they have them so that my transition can hopefully be a little easier and smoother. Diet is the first thing I work on, and I realize I don't usually go into it much but will likely start doing so to bring more awareness of the importance of a healthy diet.

These are the initial designs I got back from one designer (check the attachments as well!). I decided to reach out to multiple designers and will be on a 1-2 week wait with most of them to get any sort of designs back.
I want to feel in love with the designs, and equally feel like the important messages are being spread thoughtfully. I don't feel that yet, honestly...

Would you guys prefer my merchandise line to be realistic looking or cartoon/illustrator based? I am struggling with a design concept as Comet's design tends to lean towards more of a goofy concept, while Morgan's is seriously inspiring. So I'm a little lost in my direction of wanting to go the cartoon-style route, or a more realistic looking bird route that's more exact.

When we travel, our family travels with us. The acrobats? That's aunt Laure and Uncle Gilles from France... the dancers? Those are Capri's friends from the UK, Australia, Ukraine, and everywhere else!
Our cast becomes our family for the six months they're on board, and then it's farewell, see you later, see you down the road... who knows when we will see the same faces again but it's very likely! We enjoy the people we're around as much as we can because we know it's not for that ...

Guys, I can't make this decision on my own.
What pulls me to work with Touche is to bring awareness of the downsides of improper wing clipping, and what it does to a bird's body, balance, mind and soul.
What pulls me to work with Lefty is the mourning she must be going through from her loss of her human... she's older, she looks angry with her current circumstance and I want to open her world that there's more love for her to experience if she just lets it in.
