Well, Peepoo isn't an adoptable, but she is still in the sketches, haha! Anyway I had more ideas playing with dragon shapes & fuzziness. One inspired by a nebula, then I liked drawing it with a mane, so I did another one with a mane! He's bashful. I have another idea based off a fox - and also 2 tails cuz.... why not?

I decided to take 1 day a week to just draw my own stuff out of my mind, which actually helped a ton getting me ready to finish up owed comms for the rest of the week.

Thumbnailing and zooming out helps with poses a lot. It helps me get the whole picture before I go in an add details. I'm always going for flow, good shapes, and balance.
It's hard to explain, because a lot of it is simply intuitive from decades of practice. But two main things I keep my mind on are the Line of Action and Negative Space.
