Detailed Oasis Residence
- With a bit of leeway in terms of "shedding", I managed to make some progress with the time I have. This includes the replacement of the main facades with a masculine and feminine face (Central and East Wing), detailing that is susceptible to modification, progress on the perimeters, and extensions to shell stacks that gives me a sense of direction.
- Since the build is being raised from the ground without a formal plan, juggling between ideas before consolidation can take hours. This ...

- Structural progress that affords a couple of screenshots, though very rudimentary because of the lack of time I currently have for building, and the shit loadshedding times in my area (scheduled power outages four to five times a day because of severe electrical load on power plants)
- I'm not sure how radical the layout will change, but when I finally decide upon a desir...

I'm honestly not sure what my next build will be, but I usually come up with something in moments of solitude. It should be noted that painting, sketching, playing Minecraft, and other creative tasks are basically a fun escape for me, so as long as I'm around I'll ...

- Extensive progress externally, though I still have a long way to go with finer detail and palette choices. It's not often considered, but some forms of architecture can actually benefit from mismatched colors. Conflicting hues if you will; maybe I can draw from such an ideal.
- Modern Scandinavian builds prefer minimalism over clutter. This however does not mean that open spaces should be stamped with an object here or there, nor does stacking clutt...

After taking a breather from the excessive ideas I had to constantly contemplate for my upcoming builds, I think two days were enough to settle back into doing some creative work. As before mentioned, I want to challenge myself with a new building style. Adding Little Tiles to the blender makes things far more challenging compared to vanilla builds, since you have to painstakingly handcraft every piece of furniture that accommodates the particular style you select, blend it in with other obje...

After completing my latest Vanilla/FlowsHD build, I want to challenge my patience with a Scandinavian build with Little Tiles. Since I have an audience that utilize LT on their servers, I figured it would be fair to cater for them as well despite the fact that working with miniature blocks can severely tax the creative faculties when your patience is already hanging on a thread lol.
I've never really familiarized myself with...
I've been working on this garden for some time now on my own expense. Figured it would be pretty cool to show you how its progressed since I started this small project in my free time. It should be noted that this area was arid an barren without any sign of life in the soil, so I tilled it, carried a ton of wood chippings to the area, collect old logs, bricks from the nearby residential construction site, untreated wood shavings, chicken manure, tons of commercial compost, organic potting soi...

I've spend about half an hours to clear out the area of a vanilla generated world to find a baseline I can work with before raising the house from the ground. I do have a grip on where I'm going, but the end result is of course still a blur that will eventually be worked out as the building process continues. As before mentioned, everything I create comes from my own perspective If a predetermined direction does not come from the prerequisites of a commission, this alone can usually have the ...

My last build took a considerable chunk of time to finish. Opting for a modern structure might take half the time to complete (hopefully), and will be welcomed as a desirable sight for a change. I'm not sure how I'm going to approach the build when I decide to raise it from the ground, but I'll figure it out when I'm on the plain field.

Though the build might take the image of a Roman Forum, I'd much rather consider it as a personal Palace. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to build the residence aside from the fact that the Palace itself will act as a place of refuge, Implying that it will be a place of exploration while you make a living ...

After playing around with a couple of ideas, contrary to my sketch, I have a mental layout that will be put into perspective from this point forward. As before mentioned, I'm going to stick with 18th - 19th century Dutch architecture with strong medieval influence. Commission build:
Greetings, hope you're all still doing well. Having planned on taking a break from building for a couple of days, I'm once again tempted to accept a commission for a modest contemporary residence prompted by one of my Patrons. Of course, being offered an opportunity to better my craft simply can't be refused, so I'll brainstorm a couple of ideas, or simply play around on a Flat World to get a grip on where I'm going with my new build.
