Here’s a fun little symmetrical wolf creature that I made to play with shape and color a bit! I’ve included two versions, one with significantly more color play.

I’m also testing out a new harder pixel brush with less aliasing for a sharper look. It was a fun creative experiment between commissions!

My late night muse took over for me again!

This is all posca pens (bullet style tips) and black ink. No sketching, just going at it with no true aim. This changed, evolved and grew on its own as I just freely created. I particularly got interested in how the harder texture of these bullet tipped posca pens actually caught the fibers of the paper, and caused a flicked paint sorta texture as I was working. Truthfully, I wasn't sure what to do with this one til today..

This pic was a ton of fun and a lot of experimentation! I used procreate, aseprite and clip studio paint for this!
It started as just black and white, just working with negative space and texture. I then put it in aseprite for the dithered gradient to give it some depth. I then went into CSP and added shading and highlights with halftone brushes.

Werewolf Quinn Badge!

I haven’t made a badge in AGES!

This was a fun practice on something I’d like to offer in the future to patrons for commission! Something more heavily detailed like this takes a ton of extra time! This also allowed me to feel out how I’d like to make more simple shaded badges if I do a public badge commission opening for a con!

Owl Speedpaint- SAI2 Test

I'm trying out SAI2!
This week, I used some bday money to get myself a screenless, wireless huion tablet! Why?
Well, I wanted a better tool to help facilitate me learning blender and also make pixel art easier on my hands!
So, I've been playing with art software to familiarize myself with using the new hardware. I feel, once I become comfortable with the tablet, I can much easier learn something brand new, like blender!!

I had no idea it was Bowser day today but when I saw it I was so stoked to draw him! I never have tried before so I wanted to give it a go!

I also wanted to stay true to the style while giving it my own flavor here and there! Let me know what you think! I had a blast with this <3
The BG was made by splicing together screenshots of Bowser's Castle from Paper Mario (n64) and then quickly painted over before finishing it off with a procreate halftone filter!
