Animations progress

Hello everybody,

One out of three animations is done, it was the biggest and most complex one, and the other ones should go faster, so realistically I'm aiming to finish the update around next weekend

Animations take quite a lot of preparation and time to create, but I hope you'll like the final result :3

How important is it for you for the game to have animations? Would love to read your opinion in the comments :)

The upcoming update is intended as more of demo/preview of the quality of art/animations you will see in the game. So you will see a 'prequel' event with two side characters before the main character moves into the house and your story begins.

Hey everybody,

The development is going well. I had to take some extra commissions to get additional income this month, but I'm staying on schedule with the game development :3

If everything stays this good, I'll release the game next month (August)

PS. Right now, the development is going slow because of my life situation, but as soon as it gets back to normal, I should be able to release updates much faster

every character, detail, camera angle, clothes, etc. are also prepared in 3d

even though it takes quite a good amount of time to prepare everything, it's worth it ;)

Ps. Sharing my 3d renders, because I've already made this game in 3d (but not polished and not rendered) I just use it for inspiration and art references :3

but if I have a more powerful laptop or figure out how to use a cloud PC or stuff like that in the future, 3d is coming as well

Hey everybody,

Very good news: I've found a way to continue working on my art to make it a finished product, so the development continues :3

Also, I've decided to make the updates in two parts so you can finally play it sooner.

So, out of the 24 slides (some of them animated), I will show you the first 19 in Part 1 without or with little animations; and will animate the sh*t out of the rest for Part 2.

I hope you like this idea :)

I want to share the update completion progress with all of you. Right now, the update is done up to the base colouring stage (24 images are ready), as you can see in the post below, and only shading, lighting, and animating are left.

my eye got injured recently, so I couldn't look at the screen for some days and stayed silent

typing right now, looking with one eye, so drawing is quite challenging for me, but it's getting better

the update most likely will be postponed again, not sure for how long exactly, but I'm still working on it, only slower than planned

unfortunately, I cannot set fixed update release dates as no matter how hard I try the longer you end up waiting ...
