I'm really conflicted! Part of me wants to "finish" this and keep going with the shading and whatnot. Part of me wants to leave it alone and let the line work speak for itself. Hm. I might have to think about it.

Redlining for Raeven!
I asked for some images people wanted input on last week, and if you have something you'd like me to give you feedback on, let me know! Still taking submissions for that! Shan sent me an image too, but that'll be a bit more involved, so I'll get to it when I'm home from vacation :).
Raeven sent me this image of a mermaid, and wanted some ideas for the arms and hands, with a sort of kelp effect. (I think I ended up drawing seaweed, actually oops.)

Call for post topic ideas!
Hey folks, since I'm updating here already, is there an idea for an essay-type post you'd like to see? I did worldbuilding last time, and that took awhile, but it was fun. I don't know what people are interested in, so toss some ideas at me and I'll see what catches my attention. Writing uses a totally different part of my brain than drawing, so sometimes it's easier to find space for that than more artwork :p
