I left the pencils on for this one because I thought it looked neat. Drawing that fucking city was a challenge, but I like the way it looks now that it's done. And hey, it's night still, so once again I'll be covering up most of it when I color it today!

Aw snap, look what you get to see first :D. So, I've had a few ideas for the title of chapter 6, but none that I'm totally sold on, therefore this is the pre-title version! And then when I post it to the website on Monday, I guess we'll all find out the title then. I still have to do some stuff to tie this all together, and I need to refine the werewolf in the background a bit more, but here's the general idea for the Chapter 6 cover!
I am also realizing how dark the monitor I normally work on is, because I really couldn't see a lot of that werewolf in the back. Oops. I should check more often. Or change my screen brightness.

I should be done with this by now, but...I'm not. Oops. I've deliberately lightened my work focus lately to keep my stress levels in check.
But anyway, I really enjoy drawing people walking? I always have to reference the hell out of walking poses or they don't look right. I think especially in stylized drawings, it's easy to exaggerate a walking pose, which can work from a side view, but takes away some of the gravitas from the front view. I'm still working on her face, obvs. I'm not sold...

Haaaaa this page still needs so much work. I wanted to post it before I got to the backgrounds, though, because it's technically a night scene, so you won't see like, most of this detail when it's finished. Sad face.
I probably don't need to bother with much detail, honestly, but I find that pushing myself in little ways like that ultimately is what helps me push myself as an artist overall. Also, I am waaaay behind on comic things this week, but mostly because I'm trying to take it ...

This is...a sketch. It looks cool! But the end result will be a drawing! This is the first time I've experimented with sort of painting in a composition before doing a sketch. I tried thumbnails, but without any color, it was hard to tell if my layout was working.
Anyway, I'll keep posting this as progress happens. I have to draw on it a bit more tonight.
