been on a real kick with these anthro pokemon designs. i'll probably sell some of them eventually, but it's just been a fun and relaxing exercise. good way to warm up and get back into designing again.

This was completed for my final in my drawing course. I included some gradient map alts, and the alt with more human faces which was pretty much just an effort to please my professor.

I initially wanted to record this for a video timelapse, but my computer is pretty ancient at this point and I didn't want to risk overworking it if I was painting on a large canvas or during a zoom meeting. harpies illustration

started this as a doodle to deal with some irritability, it rly helped me calm down so i ended up finishing it completely. took about 2.5 hours.

first 3 images are color alts, next 2 are the original version with eyes open, last 4 are some progress shots.

strongly considering this as a print along with my last illustration of truce when i get access to my printer again.

january illustration

this is my first time making a full picture fleshing out the values before colors, and using gradient maps. will definitely be doing more like this (hopefully soon.)

i also plan on printing this. i have been really excited about making prints now that i have access to a printer, it also has me thinking a lot about other physical items i could make/have made. if there's interest, i think it could be fun to send out some prints to patrons. let me know what you think???
