So this started on Reddit/Goodomensafterdark (helllooo friends!) as a playful back and forth between me and a couple VERY talented artists to one up each other on how much ANGST we can shove into a drawing and then share it.

Poison Ivy

Initial sketch to finished illustration. Working with a background color even in the preliminary sketch phase can really help get the tone you want for your illustration. I love softer, warm colors to start but it depends where you want to go. Deep blues or even grays are great for moodier scenes while a nice ochre is great for the beginnings of an outdoorsy scene.

Also play with filters to add texture. A soft “noise” filter for the background is great for getting a traditional pape...

This started as a series of sketches and soon evolved into a comic (which I plan on expanding and printing) that I fell in love with.

Illustrations are my Life

As in that’s how I make a living. From caricatures at Great America to comic books, comic book covers, children’s books and advertising art, and even some D&D game book art. I’ve lived my life drawing almost EVERYTHING.

And what I can say for the up and coming artists is just keep going. Draw everything. Things you love and things you hate. (I hated drawing cars for a while. Maybe still a little! NOT YOU BENTLEY!)

You’ll be a better artist for it and you’ll discover...

What have I been doing with my free time?

Well, I’ll show you. Since Good Omens S2 aired, I’ve been elbow deep and three sheets to the wind in this wonderful fandom community, drawing nonstop comics and one-offs of these darling deviants. Somehow along the way, I’ve found myself with a lovely group of followers who encouraged me to…do more with this fun little thing I do.

So here I am. Doing more.

Not just Good Omens. Ohho no! There’s plenty of my crazy to spread around. (For instance SPN, Buffy, OFMD, Hannibal ...
