I did a lot of shortcutting on the big guy. You'll see that his moving parts are each trimmed off and made their own sprites. Also, see how his two red light layers include his ears and tail? I had to make sure those animations didn't play while the lights were on. Else, I would have had to redraw those layers eight more times.
