Yes, she's a catgirl as well. Her stubby tail (don't let her hear you call it that) is inspired by the Manx breed of cat. It's perfect for being able to walk amongst the humans because it's one less thing to have to hide. Shame she's a klutz though so it doesn't work out too well.

In Chapter 4, we're going to get a look at the MC's work day, just in time to meet the new office hire, Madeline!
She's a bit of an energetic klutz who, for some reason, doesn't seem to like the MC. The two of them will have a small battle of wits (if you can call it that) in Chapter 4.
Oh, and she has herself a little secret too, but more of that when the CG is ready.

Good news.
We finally upgraded all the menus and textboxes for the game. Previews in the pictures.
The artist known only as "M." did a great job with all the assets and Chapters 1-3 have been updated to include the new UI as well as some spelling and grammar fixes.
Links in the usual spots and newgrounds have been updated but not f95 yet. It was down last I checked before writing this and I'll get it up there when I can.

I also adjusted some of the dialogue and narration that uses "they" to describe the player character. It was a little klunky when reading through so hopefully it feels a little smoother now.
If you find any other spelling mistakes just let me know. They're pretty easy fixes.

I'm proud to present, a little update to the sprites haha.
The sweater's change is pretty minor with just a colour adjustment to match the backgrounds better. Both the nude and the maid sprite were updated with the new pose here. (Nude is omitted here to keep it sfw and a public post).

It's nice to get that outside the apartment one. I won't have to fade to black or show the kitchen background whenever there's something happening at the door haha
With these two, you can kind of see that Chapter 3 will be taking us out of the apartment on an adventure.

While I'm working on getting all the Chapter 1 updates finished, I wanted to bring this up so you didn't think I didn't see it.
If you're familiar with visual novels then you already know, but if you're new to them, having the textbox block some of the CG is pretty common. You'll see it in all the visual novels from the AAA Japanese ones to little indie numbers like this.
