Final version of my symbolic cover to a critical installment in WW's demonic possession storyline (ah, literally meant, actually) in my fanfic THE MORGAINNE AFFAIR. Found here:

This was done in collaboration with SharkTan, a fellow artist and long-time friend. We had long talked about doing some collaborations but it took a while to get around to it, mostly because I was having all kinds of delays with everything on my side.
He did digital inks and colors over my rough pencil layouts and it's great to see the work fully finished and also thru the artistic interpretation of someone else, (as with Makverus and ChubbyDevil, who have also done great finishe...

Well, the basic two-figure composition and rendering is done. This is
how it came out.
Some bits still bug me a tad, but I think it works well enough now.
I wanted to complete the cover reinterpretation, and will likely do
so, but I kinda liked isolating the participants in a pin-up first.
The logo is going to be kinda obscured by BaalSatyrs figure, and the
original presence of Etrigan in the right may unbalance the
composition and dilute the primary focus.&...
Getting closer to how it should be. The sketch I mean.
This is my take on an actual cover for the original WW comic, drawn by Giordanno, that I kinda blame for getting me interested in superheroine, um, alternate adventures in the first place, because of the, ah, possibilities. That story I reinterpreted as my Morgainne fanfic, and the artwork of this pairing and the Diana-Etrigan one has been a big part of much of my work over the years.

Here is the Sonja artwork with more consistent contouring and polishing. May not be that different but I kinda like it better. I fixed also the armlet on her left arm that was off regarding her arm's angle. Her, um, competitor is now better rendered too.

So this is a looong-delayed Red Sonja reward I had in the backpile waiting for some polishing. Did a bit of that and clean up but felt the um, grittiness of the Hyborian Age did not need further cleanliness.

So here is the original layout I previously did for the Diana and Demons pic whose more finished version I sent. You can see how I changed the positioning to a more restrained pose from the more wanton one here. This one also had both Etrigan and BS being more aggressively handy with Diana.
I think the changes were for the better. The element of tense stand-off in the later version works better than the more jumbled one here.

I liked making this more strongly suggestive that outright explicit visually-wise, though, sure, some things may poke through.
This is pretty muddy, as did not have at hand the right erasers or pencils, so it may need plenty clean up, but I think it kinda suits the topic.

My take on an actual cover that was a take on a famous poster.
Meant to be the symbolic cover image for my Diana-Etrigan comix, which has been stalled but will be soon forthcoming.
I meant to add some text or the logos behind, and may do soon after I do a final clean-up, but I thought that the image needed to be shown as it was, without any hindrances.
Pretty happy with how it came out for once.
But I was wondering about the right title or tagline:

Aiming for something more subdued for this one.
Worked again on a flat surface so it came out elongated and distorted and I don't think I was quite catching the likeness anyway. I think I may have to start all over with this one.
I have been in rather bad health lately, thus my being again MIA. Had to get all kinds of exams, changes in medication, and may need to get surgery at some point if some things don't improve. Hopefully not. At least I now know most of ...

Apparently the old archive stopped working as it did before because google changed its SITES and everything got messed up.
So I shifted the backlog of old artwork and stories to a google drive location and added a bunch of sketches and stuff to the WonderWoman and XMen folders.
Please try it out and tell me if it works or not.
I was not completely happy with the previous version of this page and
decided to redo the complete right side.
I drew it on another paper and tried to join them together in the
scanner and get the two
halves to match together and I am not managing to get it right.
The damn paper ends up having a slightly different shade and the edges
cannot be cropped to fit as I wanted, I really should try to do a
better joining.
I like it much better now (after several...
I kinda gave up on the background. Sorry about that.
I am thinking about erasing the bg detail and doing kinda like a
shaded rain effect, sorta like in the first movie.
Also I need to retouch and tighten MJ up. Ahem. I couldn't use my
drawing table and had to use a work desk at the office, so I think
MJ's face ended up a bit too elongated.
Was rather strange how the upside down position relative to each other
made proportioning kinda harde...
