Jumped ahead to the posing stage, really needed him in position so I can drape more of the loose chains around his body and properly add details. I've already had to re-do a bunch around his neck so I'm trying to avoid double working things but it should be all good from here. Also thinking just for ease of printing I'll cut and key the hands so we can keep the dynamic chains without all the hassle (just blockouts atm to work out a nice arc)

As promised here's the beginnings of the chains, I think I've got the process for these figured out now and just need to finish laying out the bulk of them. I'm trying to condense them as much as I can to keep it print friendly and giving it my own take, chucked some piercings in and gave him some kinda chain mohawk/ponytail thing that I'm liking a lot at the moment.
Next update should hopefully be all the bulk wrapped chains done before picking a pose to lay out all the hanging stuff.<...

Just a quick update of the Chain Devil!
I'm liking the proportions and started messing around with chains but very quickly figured out that doing it with no plan isn't the best idea... so I've blocked in rough areas that I'm planning to have tightly wrapped chain first as those wont really be effected by posing. Anything else that hangs or joins sections together will be much easier to place once a pose is figured out.

The Chain Devil was quite the popular fella!
I've gone over the lore to see what extra details grab my attention and there isn't a whole lot more to play with, he's basically just a guy covered in chains. So I think I'll push a little more towards the devil/demon side at least for the facial features.
Long loops of floating chain are also a huge pain to print, they will need to be fairly chunky with tight links to give more contact area so they aren't so fragile but I'll see...

The 5 main variants of Slaad have made it to the collection ~ Blue, Red, Green, Gray and Death. It took a bit of work but the end result was well worth it, I might still try and get the tadpole done while the vote continues but I should really get back onto the Grave Titan while I have a chance.

Progress on the Slaad group is going well with 4/5 posed so they wont be far off. We have a pretty broad range here, all of them have been requested so it should make for an interesting round.

I'm most of the way through the different colour variants now, there are still some details to sort out (like all of the green's accessories) and the death variant but I wanted to see how they lined up so far with a bit of colour splashed around. There was talk in the discord about possibly doing the tadpole as well, seeing as I'm doing the others anyway I might as well if you are keen to have it.

Fresh eyes make all the difference, the big fella has had a bunch of tweaks done to move away from the overly humanoid first pass. Main things are the torso is longer and thicker now, smaller legs with more exaggerated frog limb lengths, slightly larger feet and a little bit of dental work.
I'm much happier with how it's looking now and can safely move onto the general warty gross stuff before tacking the specific look of each variant.

This is where I'm at so far with the Slaad and the extra toad direction, I think it looks pretty cool! still needs all the gross warts and details but it's a good starting point. I'll look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow and see how I feel about the overall proportions and probably make some tweaks here and there, let me know what you think so far!

Alright! So there were lots of comments asking which type of Slaad and if the main variants could all be made... seeing as they are all pretty similar as far as the general structure and anatomy goes there wouldn't be that much extra involved in changing up the proportions and adding some specific details if that's what we want to do.
As far as the design, the official art is pretty cool although I would like to push them in a bit more of a toad direction rather than the more lizard kin...

I said I was aiming to get it posed today and here it is!
The usual 54mm and 32mm versions have been added and as if he wasn't creepy enough, I got a bit inspired by the whole cannibal thing and decided to sculpt a heart for him to carry around. It should make for a good subject to practice all the blood and gore!
I think he might be a bit front heavy to stand without a base but I really wanted him bent over the top of his prize like the huge creeper he is.

Still in the early stages for both these designs but this is where I'm at so far. I think the legs of the Wendigo need to be bulked up, the proportions feel a bit off in comparison to the upper body and I'm playing around with the idea of some sort of mane type thing as well. The antlers are just slapped in at the moment so don't be too worried about those, I'll make them thicker once I get the placement sorted.

Seems like we have a bit of a undead theme going on with the Wendigo coming out on top by a fair margin. There are lots of directions we can take this one as the overall idea of a Wendigo is pretty broad but there are a few aspects I definitely want to include.

The Grave Titan has started taking shape now! I messed around with a lot of different body proportions initially, stuff like a longer torso and shorter legs etc but nothing really captured that brutal feeling, it went into more of a deformed look and that's really not what this guy is, he is still a giant after all and they are basically a normal humanoid.

Time to get the ideas going for the Grave Titan!
From roughing in a scale test this guy will need to be in the 25 - 27ft range for a standard 6ft sized human to fit in the chest cavity like the artwork, which is both amazing and scary. For a bit of a reference the Nightwalker is 20ft and emaciated... so this definitely fits the whole idea of making something huge.

She's finally made it.
After all the effort (and slight burnout) I'm finally happy with the design and she's been added to the collection. There are now 3 versions, both in 54mm and 32mm scales, the main version shown, a topless version and another without hair as requested. I tried to make the head removable to allow for more options but it was causing heaps of issues so I've parked that for now and just have separate exports.

First of all sorry for the delay in getting this update out, I've been a bit burnt out this last week and it's a killer for creativity... I pushed through as much as I could but most of the time I didn't like what I ended up with and just started again.
Anyway I'm finally liking what I've done so I can move onto the detail work. I'd like to do some embossed patterns on the metals and play around with some more leather or cloth elements and give her some actual hair with a bunch of braid...

I have messed with the proportions on this so much now but I'm finally happy with how it looks (I think), getting a transition point that looks correct between the two body types has really been a pain.
