Early days

Not long after she had been rescued, Minhelm checked in Yaroslava to see if she was okay. 

Ever proper, Minelm of course knocked first and asked if Yaroslava was decent.

She said she was.

Minhelm removed her hat and entered Yaroslavas quarters.

Yaroslava was indeed not naked. She was however doing some routine maintenance on her cybernetics and had many of them uncovered as a consequence.

One of Scums's old characters. Nel a Nospheratu clan vampire who got turned somewhere around the 600s and has been trying to not cause trouble or upset people ever since.

Seen here as some kind of subterranean librarian. Considering her lifespan, she only learned to read fairly recently herself. But she wants to help.

She is such an adorable little woobie that she's actually where Nel from Boonequest got her name from. Scum is amazing at making such characters.

Creative interrogation

I don't usually draw such stuff, but Kaisei reasoned - accurately - that in a world with potions that can transform you into a small rodent or a large insect; someone like Pacha who is paid to kill or interrogate people would absolutely transmog someone and then threaten to start biting their limbs off if they did not co-operate.

Fact is, that's true.

This was actually an interesting challenge. I went a little overboard with the detail here, but it was a fun little cha...

Hokay!

New thing I'm trying out for this year.

It's not so much a tier thing and it's not something so great that I feel will be a motivator or whatever but I wanted to test out doing a little more for the bizarrely generous amongst you.

Put simply, anyone who pledged 10 dollars or more the previous month will get a pencil or digital sketch ( a bit like the ones I published in January) of their choosing.

I'm not looking to draw anything nasty or objectionable or ...

Morning wrangle

Occasionally, Clootie decides not to drink at her own joint. She travels to a village tavern, puts a beer crate by the bar so she can reach it then nurses a drink or two. She doesn't go there with the intention of socialising and the drinks cost a lot comparatively, so a lot of folks aren't sure why she does this.

She has always just said 'research'.

By strange coincidence both male goblins have names from similerish types of food. Literally only just noticed.

There was a request to see them having an intense discussion, so I whipped this up in a lunch break.

I wanna draw more of these guys interacting, and draw it better.

I kinda love how much they wouldnt get along.

None of that begrudging respect or warming to each other over time.

No hatred, but definitely disdain.

I know it overkill or even cringe to some, and I get that. But I love fantasy casting my work. I pick a voice actor for each character in English and in Japanese.

In English, in my head, Joey Donuts sounds like Jason Marsden. He has a broad, fairly heroic , youthful voice that even when he's being serious you can still sorta hear the Max Goof in it.

But in Japanese? Gotta be Mitsuo Iwata. Dude is both Shotaro Kaneda AND Kintaro Oe. Put them together and you get Joey.
