I'm going to start creating a backlog of thumbnail sketches. Then I'll run a poll, whichever wins I'll work on finishing that and then I'll just cycle them out.

Morning Sketches

Going to be messing a bit with quick drawings like this to try and figure out a better process for colouring that I like.

Brushes

Attached I have two of the brushes I use for almost everything. I like to use versatile brushes because I don't like having to swap them around all of the time.

Concept brush is what I use for sketches.

Comic inker is used for all my line art.

I typically work on an A3 Canvas at 300dPi. The inker is generally set to 20-30px. Sketch brush is used at all sizes for shading, lines etc.

September Update

Hey Everyone!

September is coming to a close. I'm still trying to work out how to clip together that video (If anyone knows good video editing software other then adobe premiere I'm all ears). I was also planning to open a couple of commission slots which also didn't manage to happen.

Update

It's been a little bit of a slow month. I've had a lot going on in the real world so its just been a little hard to churn out the amount of content I normally do.

I'll do more in depth update in the next couple of days. Basically though I plan on making next month free (There will still be content coming out), and that'll just take the pressure off me mentally to catch up and get these other things I have going together.

Little sneak peak at the first finished piece for this month. Just need to work out a background now. Pretty happy with how her design came together.

Character Sketches

Sketching is starting to feel a bit better again finally. I think I wasn't drawing enough for a short while and it really made everything feel so forced.

As for the character design, does she need to be more buff?

Build-a-Wench

Trying something a little different this month. From the options bellow select one hair style, a body build, hair/eye colour, and skin colour.

I thought this would be easier then creating multiple polls.

October Fanart Poll

Changing up how we do the polls a little. Instead of one character its more like a selection of characters from a title. So each month I'll try and get a few pieces done from the winning title.

September OC

New month, new poll. Originally I was going to do a Gym Girl OC. Stepping away from the fantasy for a month. I decided I wasn't sure about whether I should do that or stay in the fantasy realm.

So instead of having to make a choice, I'm offloading the responsibility onto you guys.

Callisto

Xena month is coming to an end. I've had a lot of requests for Callisto in the past so I decided to finish the trio off.

Just a quick not on process. I've been feeling like I've been getting a little heavy handed with my blurs and fades, and I think that muddies up the drawing a bit. This time I tried to take a step back into a more classic cell shaded look. I think I like it more.

Barrels of Fun

In these times people survive by whatever means they can. Enya found work at one of the local taverns promising the inn keeper she would bring in more customers. She has a talent with people. She knows how to work a crowd.

She promoted, she teased, and she had everyone who frequented that tavern wrapped around her finger. She also enjoys drinking the ale as much as she likes serving it. And if you behave, and your good to her, and you have the right coin, she'll be good to you.

Process Overview Tutorial

This is the first tutorial I've ever made so bear with me. I wanted to keep it pretty broad in terms of the overall process.

There are multitudinous little details you can get into on a piece so its very easy to get lost in the weeds.
