#3 Photoshoot - Find our answers

This building was once a thriving hub of activity, a magnificent factory during the industrial boom. Built in the mid 1900s, it manufactured everything from metal parts to complex machinery (hint, hint). The walls, now crumbling and coated with dust and dirt. Its brothers and sisters sadly went through the same faith. The Wasteland they called it.

Another day, another life!

There is always time in life to reflect. It doesn't need to involve a mirror, nor do we need to travel to the sacred lands of Mount Koya, or install ourselves in a North Italian monastery to meditate. We just need to find the purpose in ourselves, the why.

 Annelise's life may be a mess, but the path out of it is clear to her. Dedication, reflection, and, in the end, the acceptance of who she really is. An unfinished path that will need many more adventures before she can call it ...

#2 Photoshoot - Ready or not!

It's been two weeks, and as promised, here's a bi-weekly game update. How I usually start a new update is by writing, writing, writing. This time, it seemed like a good idea to also fix some weak points in the game. Content-wise, everything will stay the same, but visually, some environments and renders will be updated, hopefully for the better.

The new update! And not only that, have a closer look.

This one fell a little bit into the water, but it swam right back up. Sorry for that.
My goal was to finish it around the 15th last month, as I basically didn't have a free weekend anymore until now to work on it. But it was a mess with render times, settings and scenes that were too dark, so that didn't work out. Anyways it's here. Yay.

In terms of renders compared to the first two updates it's a lot more. Feeling wise ...

What am I up to!?
Well the update is moving along. I'm trying to upgrade the quality and expressions for this version. Putting some extra attention there, so I hope it will objectively turn out well. The goal is to finalize the update in around 3 weeks or so hopefully.

Summer is also around the corner, I don't think it will change much update wise, but the next next update is probably also going to be a 3 month ish update. Summer weather is not a friend of the underground dev lif...

Here I am. This image was planned as the end all be all (last image) for the update 0.1. Notice the black nails? Indeed. Seems like a copy of the hand that hit Annelise on the butt at the party, making out with Carmen. It would have caused some drama...
In the end I left it out of the game as it would make it path wand warning wise quite complicated. But nobody said it never ...

Time has past and we're all still alive and kicking. Hooray! It's the small things that matter in life after all. Eat your vegetables and stay healthy.
What I would also like to share is a small "looking back" at the past 2 months. Basically the first time I'm doing an update for a crowd. Not many, but that's irrelevant. Happy New Year!

Will Annelise immigrate into the wild? Will she become a painter? As it is New Year, we can go a little bit more adventurous than usual.

So what's happening? Concerning the update, I think I'm a bit over half-way when it comes to the overall workload. So fine, fine. Timing wise; I don't see myself giving release dates a month in advance or so, it sounds a bit too far into the future for now. Maybe that will change when I have more experience with all the software, I don't know.

Who just came into the picture?

Citizens,

Professor Hellic made his entrance into the story. Will the new update be about him? Hell no, but at some point it will. Here's a little sneak peak into his brilliant mind.
The next update will mainly be about Annelise and her first evening with the new flatmates. When it will be ready is a mystery. But there's a good amount of progress in these 2 weeks, which is hopeful.

I've been working on this project for a while, or let's say I've been struggling with Daz3D for a while, so I'm thrilled to have a little piece out there now in the world, which is Partly to get some feedback, so feel free :)
