WIP - Tips, Secrets, and Game Design Insights for v0.1

As I work on v0.1, I thought I'd give some tips on some of the most effective ways of making money while I share some new screenshots and systems that I'm working on.

Restructuring

Today I went to start moving the finished CG from the working folders into t7he actual game, and I realized that I've been completely forgetting to do the 1080p and 720p versions of posts.

I just went through and added all of the 1080p scenes that were missing.

I've also decided to change how the Patreon rewards will work.

Updates returning this weekend

Okay party people, updates will be returning this weekend!

As of a couple of hours ago, I am officially done with uni. I have yet to find a day job and no longer have school projects to worry about, so I'm going to have a significant amount of time on my hands. I'm going to ramble for a bit about plans going forward if you're into that.

Updates on hold for a couple of weeks

I really wanted to stay on schedule, but I've just got too much going on right now. My final projects are taking a lot more time than I expected and I'm also up for some jobs that have required a lot of extra work just for the interview. Stuff like creating video demonstrations. So unfortunately, I just don't have time for Waifu Wonderland right now, since there aren't any patrons yet.

Poll - What do you want to see in v0.2?

With everything in v0.1 being decided and almost done, I wasn't originally going to do another poll until after v0.1 gets released. But after thinking about it for a bit, I thought I'd see what people want in v0.2 before I finish planning out everything that will be added.

The game should be releasing in May, so the poll will go through until June 1st. That way people have time to try out the game before voting if they want. You can also go ahead and vote now.

This week I got my final project assignments, and I'm just not going to be able to get the art posts done in time for a Friday release while I'm working on these. Normally I do as much as I can throughout the week, and then Friday I finish up and release it. But I haven't had any time to even start on anything this week, and it's only going to get more intense as projects get closer to being due.

Blame Rebirth

March 24 Progress Update

Alright, we're now a solid 2 months into the development of Waifu Wonderland, and things are progressing pretty smoothly!

When I first started this project at the end of Dec I laid out a plan to get through the illustrations and get the 0.1 version out this year, and even with some setbacks, it's still on track to come out this year. Let's take a look at the numbers.

Hooker Color Variation Poll Results

It ended up being a 5 way tie between, Goth, Green, Grunty, Valentine, and Oak.

So I was originally planning on putting the top two of different skin colors in, but the only non-white one that was voted for was Grunty, which is a green skin version. I want the game to be shaped more by the people who play it, so while I wanted more variety, it's clear people liked the white versions the most. So I decided to make both winners white.
