Douma is and oarfish and Shinobu is obviously a poisonous jelly fish ~ 

Fun fact: oarfish eat jelly fish

Rengoku merman

I was supposed to do Rengoku last year but never got to it so I finally did! He is a beautiful lion fish.

Also the arm missing was just a decision I made I don’t know why.

Akaza just has mantis shrimp energy. Also this took me way longer than I wanted, so many colors.

The Genya demon

When I drew this demon the other day I was thinking of a cowfish so here are the colors I had in my head for him.

Mermaid Giyuu was saved by fishermen Sanemi, to say thanks he brings him those weird gold shiny stuff he likes.

when I’ll color it I want to add way more details I’m comfortable with. Also Giyuu is based on a Mahi mahi

Very quick poll, I am coloring a few of the mermaids but I am in the middle of a debate. Do I color the whole body like the fish I take inspiration of like last year, or classic mermaid, fish bottom huma top.
