Friday Progress Report

Hi ^_^ 

I survived the heatwave :D  Shut all electronics down in the house, was running on laptops only, white paper over the windows and with a portable AC on it was still too hot. any chance of working on Monday and Tuesday were lost in a heat haze.

Hi, welcome to the weekly progress report ^_^

This week I've been doing rigging, a lot of rigging, the polar bear is now fully rigged and some scripts have been optimized so they are less hassle to work with.

Hello ^_^

Good news, things have progressed to the point where it's just waiting on rendering and simulation.

So far I've finished animating, done three internal shots (one that needs simulation adding) extended the external shot, fixed up the lighting, refined the camera movement, added another camera angle, rerun the simulation and now things are rendering. The very last shot to be done will be the simulation and rendering of the internal climax shot.

This week the Executive Producers voted on which two characters would be featured in the next animation, It's gonna be the Fox and PolarBurr :D However the Burr is a big boy, the fox just won't fit. (no seriously check the included still, The Burr is the size of his torso) so I'm going to need suggestions for what should happen either reply in the comments or send a DM.

Sorry, not been having a good time of it, after dealing with fever, coughing, racing heart rate etc... the biggest challenge with working is the lack of energy.

Small update (I got Covid)

After avoiding it all these years I've finally managed to get it after going to ConFuzzled, I've had 3 jabs so hopefully they do something, at the moment it's just a sore throat and tiredness so I'll be trying to do some work, just want to let you know incase things are a bit slow this week (sorry)

Hi 

I did say I'd get something up.

Having spent the week bouncing between animation and doing all the stuff needed to get ready for the con I got the animation ready, got a few camera angles set up, got the simulation all cooked and the fur working as needed, I go to do a test render to fine tune the look, the program crashed.

Stuff done this week, getting things setup for the sticky finish, work has been done on the Racc, Ott, the simulation setup and more animation, the otter is getting pawed off and the Racc is going to give him a cream filling. All these things are happening in tandem at the moment and I've included a 4K still that I showed earlier in the week to the Executive Producers of what I've got so far.

Hi, sorry for the late one.


This week I've done more animation, yet more Otter pounding and a FPV linker between the two.

I've included the loop, and the animation so far, (this is shaping up to be my longest animation to date). Next week I'm going to be animating more pounding/the climax and looking at ways to make the otter all gooey. ^_^

This week I've been working more on some hard pounding animation.

Had a couple of bad days feeling low and accompanied wheel spinning. even trying to make that up with a few late nights I still was not able to get this loop done and rendered for today, sorry about that :/ Will be working on getting this loop done next week along with adding a linker to the previous loop.

Hi

This week I've been working on some nice hard otter pounding, attached is the preview I showed earlier on in the week to the executive producers, this has been worked on more, lengthened an extra camera angle added (and I've included a still from that) however it's not yet ready to show off (even for a WIP version) next week I'll have it finished up and rendered and added to the rest of the animation.

I'm now off to gorge myself on hot cross buns and chocolate eggs. :D

Hi.

This week I've done more animation work, build some tools to speed up some under the hood processes. 

There is a lot of work needed to do to the rigs so that the muzzle insertion shots work, start of the week was spent getting as much of that as possible into script form (in future it's a few clicks and a small amount of manual editing to get any of the existing characters set up)

Thanks for the comments and likes on the update post. You'll be pleased to know I'm all ok (and the only thing I need to deal with is a fence that blew down) the weather here is going to be rough over the next week or two, here's hoping I stay out of the worst of it.

Quick Update

There is 'the worst storm in over 30 years'  due to hit the UK tomorrow and this could lead to power outages, flooding and debris being thrown around.

Hi

Sorry I don't have anything to show today. :(

As I said to the EPs earlier on in the week, I've been ill, zero energy, upset stomach along with my neck pain flaring up. Right now things seem to be easing up, but I'm still not at 100% I'm hopeful to I'll be back up and running after the weekend.

Hi. This week I've finished a nice little animated intro of the Ott to the Racc I started during my first week off back in December. I've included the animation and a few of the 4K WIP stills I made for the Executive Producer update on Wednesday.
