Sooo I got it done in the 12hrs. Technically I did it over a few days because I had to keep working on the video for the week in between. But 12hrs to print and paint. It’s actually crazy. One thing though is that the fast resin is so brittle. Like for real super duper brittle. And there was a compromise between quality and speed in many places. Like where I press my thumb into the skin tone on the arm. And the layer lines etc. I could’ve put more time into prep and had it done over a lon...

Venom complete.

Here is my first venom I’ve ever made. He’s not really one of my favorite characters but since I have a spidey collection it made sense to make a venom one day and I waited for the right one and zez was an obvious choice.

This video goes live tommorow and it’s the first time I’ve hidden my work in progress from the public until upload so let’s hope this video goes nuts 🥜

Snow White speed paint.

Soo it is totally possible to print and paint a 1/4scale statue in 12 hours. Yep that includes print time and prep as well as recording cos you know I recorded that!! I just have to do her face and hair which is not going to take more than 30 -40 mins. I may live stream the ending tomorrow but don’t hold your breath hahaha. So far, 5hrs to print and 5 and a half hours on paint.

And yes I did get distracted and didn’t take my final photos of venom today. But I’ll get on that ASAP...

Venom day 3

I completed venom today. I’ll upload the wips here for now and take some photos tomorrow when I work on the edit.

Hope you like, I added leds to the capsule and changed the green to red. This could possibly be carnage leaking, I also strengthened the red OSL on the body and decided to make him shiny.

I may still add slobber but I’m still contemplating this.

Quarter scale print and paint in less than 12hrs?
