I was super honored to illustrate this year's Free Comic Book Day "Stranger Things" issue for Dark Horse comics. I actually got the gig when the editor found my work on Society6, which really illustrates the importance of showing and getting your work out there. You never know who might be looking. Maybe I should make a post about social media?(Spoiler alert: just post your work everywhere.)

This month's illustration is my cover for Dark Horse's Free Comic Book day Stranger Things issue. Planning on working on the Cyberpunk Guitar piece next. I've been swamped lately with work so I haven't really been able to work on Patreon rewards hopefully some of my newer works will be released soon to share with you all.
The issue will be released May 4th 2019, you can all pick it up for free at your local comic shops!

To begin, I've had this idea sketched out for a long while now. A warrior pacified either by the passage of time or combat has always intrigued me. I didn't want the illustration to convey weakness but a sense of stoicism, just something past it's prime but still elegant. A big problem I had to solve was how to incorporate that visually. Firstly to start off I must apologize for the lack of updates. I have been very busy finishing up some freelance gigs, which I thankfully finally have! So I have much more time catching up with my Patreon.
