I let out a sigh of relief.
Today, I am finally leaving this accursed place. A single bag at my side, I slowly crossed the marble hallways of the main house. I had just handed my keys to the head maid and graciously received my monetary pension. The carriage bounced on the rough pavement as we passed now familiar streets on the way home.
I felt irritated… angry even.
It was only Stash and me in the carriage. He had offered for Jade to come spend the afternoon at the residence, but she had refused, stating she had chores to do at the orphanage.

I also want to add that all the information is 100% accurate. We spent hours discussing the mountain ranges, the different biomes, point of interests and their looks... Amongst countless other things regarding the world of My Quiet Life!
