Most of you are probably familiar with my haunted summer pics and others along those lines - the same picture has multiple versions which start with our heroines fully clothed, and slide progressively toward nudity. This is more or less the process for these kinds of pics.

This is one of the new panels - the process is pretty much the same as anything else for the sketch, lines, and colors.
The green silhouette is done after the regular color version. I'd altered a copy of the regular background into the green silhouette version on the first panel I did, and since they're the same throughout I was able to reuse both here. As I was drawing this, I realized I needed to do a full color Akiko in her yukata, and a green filtered naked Akiko in exactly the same pose, and the easy way to do that involved a full color naked Akiko as well. So I thought, hey, people might want to see this...

The initial stages of the pinup:
The rough tablet sketch, which is done in bright blue so the final lines will contrast with it. at this stage she still has both eyes open. Some fine detail is just blocked in, like the finger and toes. Before this stage I usually draw an "armature" of sorts to very roughly map out proportions and limb positions. This mostly gets erased along the way; the lines indicating the contours of her face remain from this stage.
