What might be the fullest documentation I've done to date on an image, includes a number of attempts and angles which did not make it into the final project, along with multiple progressional sequence shots. This one was a pretty long project, but I am glad to have seen it through.

A little fusion of a character and costume I like with elements of another type of costume I like. I feel like the background on this one was a little ambitious for a sketch, but it served as a testbed for another project I was working on last month, and I like to think the hard work paid off.

Arcane season 2 comes out next month so we're going to vote on a bunch of stuff for that this month, and to start I've prepared two options for you here: 🅱️ikini or 🇧olice. A very smooth and easy development cycle showing the piece from start to near finish without any notable hiccups or speedbumps. A happy job for me might not make for exciting viewing for you, but sometimes it's a sacrifice I am willing to make.

This month's main feature sees Taarna and the Taurs return with her finally and fully at their mercy! Rather than posting a zip file for this one I just put it up as it's only two images, hopefully no one minds.

Early images show two proposals for the project with one ultimately being rejected, along with some fairly subtle but frequent edits of the head and face showing both adjustment, and total reconstruction in order to achieve both likeness, and (hopefully) appropriate perspective. Otherwise fairly standard fare views into the cleaning up and colouring of the piece.

This is a fairly simple picture and I therefore sort of hammered it out quite swiftly and painlessly. Not much if anything in the way of retreading my work on this one, just a fairly simple journey from start to finish, though there are some simple multi stage examples of painting in the water and clouds for the scenery on this piece.
