Current State of Affairs

First off, I'm not even sure if that's how that phrase is supposed to be used but anyways... Pose Study 01/07/24

I'm really starting to adapt to this new style of sketching, I like the consistency in the quality of my work it brings out. It's best to start with simple rough shapes first and not obsess with details initially, I realized that I started to get carried away with one of the poses when laying down the bases in this study and not only did it consume too much time, it was a complete waste because I ended up scrapping it. My next goal is to start focusing on diversity in physique and body shapes...

I've started to adapt a new style of sketching where my main focus is getting down the main shapes and proportions first then building on it with layers, I've found this really helps with quality rather than focusing on smaller details off the start!
