Patreon has now issued a statement regarding the recent large number of declined and canceled payments. Apparently Paypal's new billing update may effect your Patreon subscriptions. As a result if you've been experiencing declined payments or issues accessing content Patreon has suggested some steps to follow, they're not the most helpful, but it does provide some answers and give an acknowledged route to take.

Recently We've Relaxed by a River with Ramses, but by coincidence, I'd also been recently working on a fireside audio with Ramses.

With that in mind, I decided to link the two! A night talking by the fire and morning relaxing in the sun with both slightly referencing one another!

A Personal Update and The Podcast

Normally I like to post every 3 days here, it’s been a week, where have I been?

Well, this month is a month I appreciate what you all do more than usual. Today, due to an ongoing condition, I will be going in for major oral surgery. I have been blessed of the past 3 years to have been in near perfect health for much of it, so I’m due a little bump in the road.

It’s times like these that I realize that without all of you I would not be in the position I am currently privilege...

Before I start, there is some strong language in this one, some pretty violent references, and a little biological warfare, but it’s all done with a villainous charm and accent, so that makes it all okay!....right?....RIGHT?!

This was an amazing commission from Woozle, who insisted this level of villainy needed to be shared! 

The setting that enables this character was originally a TTRPG setting for a system called Sins. I adore post-apocalyptic fiction that breaks stereoty...

Vampire Bite Overhaul + a little teaser of this weekend

So, people often wonder how I spend my editing and mixing time, and one of my favorite pass times is trying to fine new and creative ways to record sounds to increase their depth and realism. 

One sound I have been obsessed with forever is the sound of Vampire Bites. I've attempted to approach the problem of a satisfying vampire bite from the tech side in the past by balancing audio levels while running a localized compressor.

Unfortunately, this creates the issue of the soun...
