No - not those masks. The concept of a mask in general!
Masks are things we can hide behind but also things that can make us stand out. They have been used in theatre for centuries to portray a character from a distance. That's essentially what stage makeup is now!
Obviously some of our favourite bands use masks in their conceptual visuals; Slipknot, Ghost, etc. What is it about NOT seeing someone's real face that is so enticing?
