Scattered throughout the astral, lost in pocket dimensions, hidden on demi=planes, are remnants of planar touchstones. Once protected and monitored, they were absolute gateways to other worlds. And unlike the simple magic spells, or complexly crafted portal gates, these touchstones could take an army across time and space directly to the throne room of a deity. Long ago, in ages past, they were used against the divine in the Battle of Evermore. What was once the greatest form of transportati...

The 4 Seasons Citadel is truly an inspired location. Found on the peak of Mt. Saint Vellena, it is a ringed by a pristine marble wall. From the outside it appears as a formidable towering stone citadel, nigh impenetrable. But once you are past the front gates, you are welcomed by elemental gardens filled with exotic plant and animal life. Paths lead around the entire grounds, which encompass the four elements of earth, water, fire and air. There are elemental portals that lead to each of thei...

This month we have two different themes. The 4 Seasons Citadel is a two tiered mega-map that features the elements and seasonal exhibits. In the center is a unique arena that can host contenders from around the multiverse. The Planar Ruins are a set of different maps that feature outer world ruins with magical touches. There are pieces of floating islands in the astral and lost temples in exotic lands. [temporary write-up, more to come]

The delights of the foreign district are the talk of the town. Exotic architecture and magnificent statuary fill the backgrounds. There are authentic restaurants and unique shops line the roads. No two blocks of the district are alike. You may find yourself traipsing through a tree filled park, then cross the street to find a cacti lined roadway with outdoor eateries. There is always something new to see and you can find wares from around the world. The local citizens as well as visitors freq...

The year is already half-over, we have had some great themes so far and now it is finally time to round out the list. We only have two themes to choose from, but these two have been on the list for quite awhile (many more on the way). Both are awesome themes in their own right, each has nearly been the choice at one point or another. And they are a true contrast: a magical citadel and planar ruins. I can already imagine the sets each would create.... Or, we could do Both! I have visions for t...

I am happy to finally announce: Master Maps will now be available on Roll20! Many of you have asked for it, and initially it was out of reach. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and patience. Now the journey has lead us to the Roll20 Market Place, along with their partner DriveThruRPG.
To begin with there will be several recent map sets available. I am working on getting this months set: the Ruins of Centito available as a pre-lit scenario put together as a module (it is alrea...

The Cliff Dwellings of Centito were once a haven. It was a thriving sanctuary in the desert. Built into the side of the Sunswept Sandstone cliffs, the unique stonework architecture was unlike any other. The square structures were built upon ascending platforms, towering all the way up into the cavern ceiling. It was decorated with colorful totems and golden daises. The small settlement had many temples, dedicated to their unique deities. There were huge open wells to catch the precious rainwa...

The new month is near, and that means its time to choose another theme. The list is narrowing, to ensure that every theme gets its own time. Even with the short list, the choices are all vastly different. There is a citadel, extra-planar ruins, and another piece of the cityscape. All of these concepts have been on the poll for awhile now, some were close. Who knows which theme will be next. And just to be sure, there are many more concepts waiting. If you have ideas for a new theme (or high t...

Help me choose the theme for June. We have so many great map concepts waiting to be created. Several have been on the poll for an extended time. Lets start to narrow the list down for the next several months before more are added in again. But no worries, there are still many more new ideas waiting. We have an interesting array of choices, all from this great community of gamers. Each one is so unique; rural, city, ruins, elemental, planar, it is quite the collection.
Thank you to ever...

Rozard’s Lost Labyrinth, more hidden than lost rather. Some say it was his greatest creation. And that’s why the catastrophe happened. He advertised its greatness, a puzzle dungeon that no mortal could ever solve. Many brave adventurers tried in vain. Few even got past the front doors. For years it was known as the unbeatable dungeon, filled with treasures both opulent and magical. No one ever expected a dragon of that magnitude to take on the challenge. The drake was as powerful as it wa...
